"David and Growfully were terrific. He listened carefully to my wants, needs and budget constraints and nailed it with his design. I love it! He took care to educate me about caring for the plants. He updated me regularly during weather delays and when they were finally able to do the job, they stayed and worked hard until it was complete. He and his crew were courteous and considerate during the entire process. I d recommend them to anyone."

Customers say: Terrific value
"I had some minor issues with a sprinkler system with a home I just purchased. Alan came over within 24 hours and had everything fixed and in good working order is a short time. Very easy to work with. He checked all the stations, replaced damaged sprinkler heads, and found a broken pipeline that had been duct taped in the past! I highly recommend him for sprinkler repairs and maintenance."

Born in Dallas, Texas, Ed received his Bachelor of Science of Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. His interests in urban design and preservation began during his graduate studies. This was followed by a position as research assistant for the planning study that in zoning changes for the Oak Lawn area of Dallas. These same interests lured him to Arkansas in 1993 to work on the preservation, adaptive re-use and master plan of the Bath Houses in Hot Springs.\n
Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
