"The work completed was of the highest quality. Danny, the owner of DM Building, is a fair and honest business owner, and very responsive. He has a very skilled group of people and they did a great job from start to finish. Our foreman, Scott, who treated the project like it was his own home, provided excellent guidance and help throughout the remodel. The attention to detail was impressive and suggestions were made along the way which made the house even better. Most of the workers are employees which helps in scheduling work. We did work with some contractors recommended and managed by DM Building for kitchen and laundry cabinets, as well as tiling and flooring--and they were professional and did excellent work. In my case, I had never done a remodel and my husband was the main contact in initiating the work. Unfortunately, he died when we were in the middle of the rebuild. "Our front landscape was in desperate need of makeover landscaping. C&H Gardens has trimmed and removed many very large trees for me, over the last 6 years. It was an easy decision to choose Kent and C&H to do our landscaping project. "I can genuinely say that my experience with this company from start to finish was great. Luis was very responsive to my initial inquiry and scheduled a time to meet with me immediately. He worked with me on a design and came back to the house multiple times to make sure everything was right before we decided to proceed. It did take about two weeks for us to schedule the job but now that I've had this experience, I can understand why he's so busy! The job took two full days, day one with 3 guys and day two with 4 guys. Our yard was literally a dirt patch before so the work entailed: moving irrigation valves, removing/replacing sprinklers, installing a drip system, laying down black fabric over the entire space followed by decomposed granite (DG), planting numerous plants (which I purchased upon my request), placing bender board around two large existing trees and laying down mulch around the trees, creating a path running throughout the yard with large flagstone pieces, designing a river bed with rock, placing rock all along the outside of our fence line. All of the guys that came (Luis, Sergio, Sammy, Alex) worked very hard, were very polite and professional. Luis had to leave a few times to pick up additional materials but Sammy was able to answer any questions or talk me through any decisions while Luis was gone. I felt very comfortable every step of the way and we made several adjustments throughout the process. I never felt like I was asking dumb questions or was a bother with my million ideas. Our yard looks absolutely beautiful. It's more than I could have envisioned and truly have to thank Luis and his crew for a stellar experience. I learned that they also can help with fences, decks, cement work and yard service so I will most definitely be a repeat customer!"
