"Bob was fantastic to work with! He came out and gave me an estimate that was good and was able to get the job done in a timely manner! Him and his worker (Don) were knowledgeable and worked well to make sure the project was done in a way that not only looks good but worked for what I wanted! I am beyond happy with the way Bob completed my project! Thank you Bob (and Don)!"

"Andy was the most energic and well-mannered worker I've had the privilege to be associated with in my 54 years at my home address. He projects the best of what our young workers are promoting for the future. Kind, Polite, Energetic, Knowledgeable and ready to face a task with positive results as an outcome. Thank You Andy. Hope to see you in the spring. Mike McClure"

"He designed an opening in our basement wall for an egress window to be installed by others. He was careful to make sure his design would not be detrimental to the structural integrity of our building. He completed his drawings on time. We are pleased with is design."

"Everything went well, except the clean up. The crew ran into some unexpected problems with our ceiling composition which I think created more plaster dust and ceiling debre than expected. However, they did not seem equipped with enough drop cloths for even a normal job. They did a cursory clean up job, but I had to spend a number of hours wiping plaster dust from everything in the room.
On the plus side our recessed lights are perfect and well done.

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
