"Very pleased! I initially hired Ricky and his team to address a drainage issue on one side of our backyard, to remove some overgrown and dying shrubs, to plant new shrubs and lay down mulch, and install some EcoBorder edging that I'd planned to do myself. I was so pleased with the results (from Sept 2018, one day, about $1350), that I asked for an estimate to do the same with more and larger shrubs in the front and on one side of the house, mulching and edging as well (no drainage issue there). This project was complete in mid Oct 2018 and I'm very pleased with the results as well. Ricky's design experience shows. He listened to my goals and concerns and offered several options. While working on the front, his team discovered an issue with our sewer clean out and fixed it at little cost. This caused them to take part of a second day to complete the work, but understandably so. The only reason I gave a B instead of A for punctuality is because I didn't always know what time they would arrive, but since I work from home it wasn't an issue. The drainage issue was solved with something called a 'catch basin' and it performed wonderfully during two hurricanes that brought quite a bit of water. My husband was impressed. I am having Carolina Creations do the plant fertilization in spring and will certainly consider them for any future needs."

"I experienced the utmost in professionalism and creativity! They were very responsive to what I envisioned for my place and gave me assistance and support throughout the whole process, including advice when needed. The Peaches and Cream team made themselves available whenever needed and provided needed reassurance when I waffled on some of my decisions. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone needing interior design services and decorating."

"I've used Ford on several projects, I don't know what the owner Matt Ford can't do on a home. He stands by his work, he is an honest contractor that prides himself on his craftsmanship. Matt was very helpful with designing my entry door, it came out better than expectations. I can't praise this company with mere words--this company is second to none and in high demand--worth waiting for them to complete my home projects."

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
