Pierce and his team were an outstanding resource for renovation of what appeared to be a hopeless mess of weeds and stumps in the front of our home; resulting from overgrown shrubs and so-called "dwarf" evergreens removed previously. Pierce was a patient and eager landscaping contractor, listening carefully to our needs and budget and formulating a beautiful refurbishment of the area described above. Pierce's knowledge of plant selection appeared comprehensive and he helped us understand and select an attractive array of perennials and shrubs. Further, Pierce engineered a near weed-free planting area that made our curving flagstone walkway especially attractive. Pierce L. Shallis Landscaping & Design is not the cheapest but his prices are very reasonable for the thoughtfulness of design and the quality of their work."

Even our contractors loved the final design so much that they are incorporating parts of it within their own design projects. Anthony and John spent various hours working with my wife and I on coming up with a design and layout that met all of our needs now with easy adjustment for future needs. "Dan gutted our 2 bathrooms and made improvements to our master bedroom, creating new closet space and adding barn doors. Dan is a very honest, down to earth guy. He supported and respected our taste, but gently guided us toward particular aspects of design and detail that we would’ve never thought of. He spent hours with us in tile stores to help us decide what would look best for us. He made himself available to us at all times, and even watered our garden for us while we were away on vacation during part of the renovation. His attention to detail is outstanding. He helped us consider options that would be the easiest to clean, the most practical and the most beautiful. He even came back a year after the renovation to make sure the work maintained its integrity. I would highly recommend Dan for your project. He has a team that he works with to round out the job (carpenters, plumbers, glass customization). We will certainly use his talents again on a future project in our home."

"I typically am not a big review person, but since I hired Executive Builders based on the HomeAdvisor Reviews, I figured I would write one. These guys were great, I had never done a project this big, and when I felt in over my head after water damage, Matt made me feel comfortable that he could not only take care of the rebuild but help prevent it from happening again. He went the extra mile to fit a french drain in my budget and also didn't let me settle for any temporary fixes that would have been easier to complete. The 2 guys that worked on my project were quick and efficient. I left a key and came home daily to significant progress. Overall, it was a good experience, the one thing I didn't give 5 stars for was customer service, although there was good communication, there was a few times were I was unsure of deadlines or when/if the guys would be coming on the weekend until last minute. Having a bit more info. on time frames would have been helpful since I have a 5 month old at home. Thanks again for all the hard work! I would definitely hire again."
