That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "So the guys came and put in the door. No wood left for me to try to match stain to and none provided by Matt as promised, and as mentioned in earlier review. Now found out when we went to stain doors that there was a pretty big gap left at the top between the new door frame and the wall, thus anything such as cold air, etc. could get in. Not only that but on the side, the shims that they put in were there and never caulked. Also, the top piece of trim around the new door was loose already and we have hardly used the door. Not very pleased with this and feel that Matt thought I was a dumb because I am a woman and treated me as if I knew nothing. I needed the wood that they had as not all wood takes stain the same way, as I tried to tell Matt, but he would not get the wood to me as promised. Feel that he promised great service and did not deliver. Would not use again."
