"Bottom Line: If customer service, especially years after installation, matters to you, then you NEED to work with this company. In 2018, we had new Provia external doors installed for our entryway and garage. After 8 years, the door sweeps were beginning to wear, and unfortunately, the original installer had retired his business. I was uncertain who exactly should handle the replacement in this case. As a long shot, I contacted Zen Windows who installed a Provia patio door for us in 2025. They sent out a technician who honored Provia’s warranty on our 2018 doors, replaced the sweeps, and realigned the doors as well. In a world of truly lackluster customer support, Zen Windows stands out as truly great. You will not find a better company."

"Replaced all the screening on our patio and replaced the door to access the patio. Was reasonably priced and prompt in doing exactly what he said he would do. Would definitely hire him again to do other work around the house."

"Door Repair - They did excellent work--fast and efficient. They found a solution where I thought there was none."

"JL Smith is our go to contractor. He has brought our 50 year old house into the 21st century. Over a few years he has remodeled our: basement, kitchen, master bath, hall bath and foyer. Additionally, he painted the rooms on our main floor, replaced all the interior doors and hardware and upgraded our electrical system. We didn’t want just a cosmetic redo. We wanted our house to be ready to carry us through retirement with minimal issues. So our renovations were from the studs out. This included plumbing, electrical, wall insulation and termite repair. We love working with Mr. Smith. He is unflappable. His integrity, calm demeanor, expert workmanship and customer focus is what sets him apart from other competitors. If we have another project or are asked to refer a contractor to family or friends, we go to Joe Smith. I cannot recommend JL Smith more highly."

"Excellent! A+++++! This is the best Angies List experience I have had. I will be using this handyman from now on. Fire Department forced entry into my home while I was not there because carbon monoxide detector malfunctioned. The front door jam was obliterated. Called Nestor because he had good reviews. He was at my house in 1 hour. He quoted me a fair price and did excellent work and he did it fast. I cannot say enough good things."

"Dex came out and fixed a bad storm door install. He showed up within the window he provided and gave an ETA as well. Very friendly and very reasonable on cost. I would recommend using him for any window or door needs."

"We hired JPZ Contracting to install porcelain tile in our basement. We were extremely pleased with the service that they provided. They were punctual, very professional and did a fabulous job! We have hired a number of contractors to complete various jobs on the inside and outside of our home and I must say that JPZ Contracting is top-notch! We definitely look forward to working with JPZ Contracting in the near future."

"Very customer service oriented. Replaced my roof and a door."

"Excellent Job! Quick response to request for quote. It took less than a week from when quote was requested for the job to be done. Finished the door installation in half a day. Excellent quality, customer service and flexibility. Very professional. 10/5 Stars! Actually cared about my business compared to big businesses!"

"Great work! The order process for the door was easy and the doors arrived early and to specifications. Scheduling for the install was clear. The team -- Mike and John -- were on time, professional, took care to clean the workspace, did a quality install -- including the repair of sub flooring damage as the old doors were letting rain water inside. The new doors look beautiful and the "rain water" issues resolved. Phantom screens for the patio doors still need to go in. So looking forward to that part of the job coming to fruition."
