"When I discovered our old roof was leaking I made calls to numerous roofing contractors. Scott Dennison was the first of only two contractors to return my call. When he arrived to inspect the roof his inspection was extremely thorough involving interior and exterior inspections of the roof, ladders were involved, an examination of the property looking at things like landscaping that needed protecting and there was even a drone that allowed for excellent aerial photos of the roof Scott used as he walked my wife and I through the entire process. He pointed out the obvious roof problems as well as a number of problems that weren't so obvious, explained the necessity of proper roof ventilation and walked us through our options while answering all the questions we threw at him. We also talked with the other contractor but we ultimately decided to go with Dennison Exterior Solutions. It's important to note that Dennison was the more expensive of the two but it seemed to us that Scott knew what he was talking about and seemed very concerned with ensuring our roofing project met the highest standards. The pitch is one thing, delivering is another and I don't mind telling you, I was nervous as I headed out of town to go back to work. My wife would be home alone overseeing the roofing project. I trust my wife in these types of situations but Dennison was an unknown at this point. Turns out...there was no need to worry. Scott assigned Luis and his crew to our roof and those guys were total professionals! Our roof was expertly installed in short order and looks beautiful! Luis made sure my wife was updated on every aspect of the job as it progressed and when the roof was done they spent days cleaning up and ensuring there was no trash of any kind on the property. My wife is a retired manager and is not easily impressed but Luis and his crew impressed her so much she bought gift cards for each of them to thank them for their hard work (I've been married to the woman for over 30 years and have never seen her do that!). Once the roof was on it was time for the Gutter Topper team to move in and those guys had the new gutters and toppers up in a matter of days. The backstory on the Gutter Toppers is: during our first winter in Michigan I noticed there were HUGE icicles hanging from the roof over the front door so my ears pricked up when Scott mentioned there was a heat option available on the Gutter Toppers. We went for it and thus far we have not seen a single icicle anywhere on our roofline (nor is there a single leaf in our gutters so far).
