That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "My garage door was behaving erratically when I attempted to close it -- to the point where I had to manually assist' in the closing of the door.  Obviously, I needed to have it serviced.  I went to my 'go-to' site for a referral and discovered ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS on Angie's List.  The technician, David, arrived shortly after the scheduled time and proceeded to inspect the door.  He swapped out the door rollers and even added addtitional brackets to better support the door rails. Before he left, he did additional little things to ensure a quieter garage door operation, as well as giving me tips on future maintenance.  Overall, a dream experience!  My garage door now works like it did on it's initial installation some 10 years ago.  Thanks David and thanks ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS !!

"Outstanding work!  I plan to hire them again for my next project.  The owner, Rick responded promptly to my call and was very professional and efficient. He provided a detailed list of what was to be included in the job.  The crew of five men arrived on time, moved furniture out of the way, prepped the area carefully and cleaned up completely at the end of each day. 
Although it wasn't included in the contract, the crew did some additional touch up painting of some doors & baseboards"since we already have the trim paint open."  I had also asked if I could use their ladder to clean and change lightbulbs in the hard to reach chandelier;  I came home and found that they did it for me.  I expected that with the additional work done that they might add on to the bill, but they didn't.  Instead I was more than happy to give the crew a good tip.  
Very pleased with the end result as well as the 3 days of having this professional team in our home.

He answered all of my questions and also helped me get my second remote opener to work again as well as tighten the hardware on the outside of the garage door which wasn't installed properly. He did his work in a timely fashion so that I could get back to my busy day. When I eventually need a new door installed, he will be the one I call!"

"In June of 2010 my house flooded due to a faulty toilet tank intake line.  Forever Wood Construction was there within 2 hours & begin the steps needed to start the repair of my home.  They helped me move all my belongings out of the way so they could remove the water damaged part of the walls & the damaged flooring.  They set up blowers & dehumidifiers throughout my house to dry it out so they could proceed to put it all back together.  They totally matched the texture on my walls & you can't tell that I've ever had a flood or had any portions of the walls redone!  They even fixed some long standing electrical issues for me.  Great company!  I definitely recommend this company to others."

"Very quick response initially, but then dragged on and on. Some of this was change orders/product delays, but most was distance from their office to the home and the fact that the crew worked multiple jobs at the same time. Workers came at all hours of the day and night, and were often tired, but fortunately the house was next door and vacant. Would say they were coming and then didn't show at times. Had to do final finishing work ourselves because it was easier than to guess when they would be able to come out and finish. All the while , the front office kept asking for payments, even when no work had been done since last payment. Disconnect here. Much of the work was ok quality/ home depot level materials, but other work had to be redone because it was done incorrectly (wrong color paint, drain traps leaking, defective. Electrical was improperly grounded on fixtures. Very nice people, but really expensive considering the project as a whole and having a rental property offline for an extended time."
