"My wife and I recently had a lot of plumbing work done in our 1962 home. The work required opening our plaster walls and ceilings at several locations. Hammers were used and major damage was done. Richard’s crew was able to repair all the openings to look like the original plasterwork. No one would ever know there had been major damage. Following the repair work, Richard’s crew remove the plaster “popcorn” from our ceilings. This “popcorn” was actual plaster, not the soft type installed over drywall in the 1970s. After removing the “popcorn”, a beautiful pattern commonly called “clouds” was added to provide a very modern look to our ceilings. A second crew then came in to paint the ceilings. We are very pleased with the results and have received a lot of great comments from our friends about the quality of the work. We have been able to make several referrals. All the work was done as requested and in a very timely manner. They were very careful to cover all surrounding areas to prevent any damage and they did a great job cleaning up afterward. All their work is exceptional, and the cost was very reasonable. We have used System One three times previously going back almost twenty years and their work has always been of very high quality. Richard and his people are great to work with and we highly recommend them."

"I recently hired Nunez Drywall to fix a hole in my wall and install some new bathroom appliances, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I contacted them, they were prompt and professional, providing a detailed quote and timeline for the project."

"Work scope was replacing part of the drywall in one wall (wall was opened up to remove a bee hive), followed by taping/mud and texturing to match the rest of the wall. The work started as scheduled. We appreciated that step #1 was protecting the rest of the room (flooring, furniture, etc). Work quality was excellent and we would definitely use them for future projects."

"I selected Best Builder’s Group to remodel my master and guest bathrooms from Angie’s list, after looking at the reviews of multiple contractors in my area. Their excellent ratings across the board by virtually all of their past customers were well deserved. I’m extremely pleased with my entire experience with them. They truly are a company that I highly recommend.
The owner, Zohar, came to our home to help us plan for the full demolition and remodel of our two bathrooms. He spent about three hours with us, getting to understand our tastes and color preferences, as well as our goals in remodeling. He truly thinks “out of the box”, and offered a design in our master bathroom that eliminated a common wall between our shower and tub, replacing it with a glass shower wall, and moving the plumbing for the shower to one end wall, and the plumbing and drain for our tub to the opposite wall. This really opened up our bathroom and made it look much larger. He helped us select a beautiful tile pattern, which had the look of Travertine, but was fired ceramic tile without the maintenance issues of the porous Travertine. Zohar did not charge for this initial consultation, and after a second 3-hour planning session with us, generated a detailed quote for each of the bathrooms.
The master bathroom was quoted at $20K, which included complete demolition and removal down to the floor and bare walls. It included a 6ft bathroom cabinet with 2 sinks, polished granite counter top (which we selected to match the tile), full length mirror, mirrored medicine cabinet, replacement of old light and fan fixtures with recessed lighting, and a new low-flow toilet. It included removing the common wall, re-plumbing tub and shower to opposite walls, moving the tub drain (in-slab) to the wall side. It included a deep soak tub, mounted in a tiled base, tiled shower and tub to ceiling, and full floor tile. Fixtures were classy polished nickel, matched in both bathrooms. The shower enclosure was thick glass, custom cut and installed. The quote seemed very reasonable for the quantity of work involved, including structural changes, and the quality of the material selected.
The guest bathroom was quoted at $14K, which included complete demolition down to the floor and bare walls, a 5ft bathroom cabinet with 1 sink, polished granite counter top, full length mirror, medicine cabinet, replacement of old light and fan fixtures with recessed lighting, and a new low-flow toilet. The existing tub/shower combination was replaced with a deep soak tub, with elegant curved sliding glass doors (matching the tub contour). This was a smaller job than the master bathroom, with no structural changes, so the lower price also seemed reasonable and appropriately scaled from the master bathroom quote. We worked with Sophia, who was responsible for coordinating our selections in tile, granite counter tops, lighting, fixtures, tubs and toilets and procuring them for Juan and his team to install. She was very helpful and efficient in working with us. Either Sofia or Zohar would stop by every few days during the remodeling to make sure that everything was going well, and that we were happy with the progress and the job itself.
The actual remodeling was handled by a team of workers, with the foreman, Juan, taking the lead in most of the work himself. Juan was a really skilled craftsman, who took pride in his work, and who paid attention to the small details. The entire master bedroom was covered in plastic to protect from the dust. The carpeting was protected with canvas drop cloths. Demolition was completed in a day or so. Then Juan’s team remodeled the entire bathroom over ensuing weeks (we stayed in the guest bedroom and used the guest bathroom while the master bathroom was being remodeled). Juan checked in with us at the end of each day, telling us what he accomplished, and telling us what his plans were for the next day or so in advance. His team arrived promptly each morning, and worked long days. The result was a beautiful new master bathroom for us.
Once the master bathroom was completed, all plastic was removed and the bedroom and bathroom were restored to a clean and beautiful state. The construction team then moved to the guest bathroom, where they repeated the same process: covering the hallway, doors and entry way with plastic to protect from the dust, demolition in a day or so, then a complete remodeling of the bathroom. Again, Juan and his team did a beautiful job, with tile, counter tops, lighting and fixtures that matched the master bathroom.
One of the subcontractors (shower glass walls and door) tracked some mud into our master bathroom and den during their glass installation, as it was raining outside and the tarps had been moved to the guest bathroom. Juan reported it to me, and to Zohar, who offered to have our entire carpet steam cleaned in those areas to restore them to their previous condition, on his nickel.
This company is truly professional and devoted to pleasing the customer with reasonable prices, quality workmanship and materials, as well making the entire customer experience a good one. I told Zohar that I wanted to eventually have my kitchen remodeled. He told us what he could do, and even provided us with three design options, two of which he laid out in a 3-D rendering for us (no charge). He had some very clever ideas on how we could lay out our kitchen, make it more efficient, and even open up a wall so that we could have a common counter between the kitchen and den.
Zohar is a true artist when it comes to architecting remodeled kitchen and bath areas. We will definitely hire him and his company to remodel our kitchen, and other parts of our house (wet bar, entry way, etc). We may even choose to tile our dual fire place, which is an idea he gave us to make the entire house match in style.
In summary, I strongly recommend Best Builder’s Group for bathroom, kitchen, and any indoor remodeling. They are true professionals dedicated to providing a quality job at a reasonable price. They are punctual, reliable and exceptionally skilled at what they do. As their customer, you will come first and will be very pleased with the outcome of your remodeling job.

"Our remodeling project was completed on February 2018 with cost of over 120,000. We could not have been more satisfied with the high quality of work that was accomplished by Cielo Construction. Their promise to make us feel happy and by answering all of our questions and carefully and the reaction to any of our questions, emergency, and more... Our remodeling project was big and took few months to finish, fairly priced and very involved. It involved lots of coordination between many people, such as, architects, engineers, painters, plasterers, plumbers, electricians and the list go on and on. All the remodeling work was finished professionally and flawlessly. All their Ideas that were given to us for suppliers and vendors.. were also excellent and all the materials that we got and used were top notch. Cielo Construction staff and Dylan (project manager) were able to keep the overall costs within the agreed budget. We recommend them strongly and without reservation. Pretty much on budget and on time!!!!!"

Load-bearing walls support the weight of your home's structure, including floors, roofs, and other building components. Non-load-bearing walls, on the other hand, serve only as partitions or room dividers. All exterior walls are typically load-bearing, even if they have design features like bump-outs or large glass panels. These walls need precise construction to ensure your home's structural integrity.
Removing a wall costs anywhere from $300 to $10,000 , depending on the size and whether it's load-bearing. Removing load-bearing walls is a more labor-intensive process and typically costs more. To get an accurate estimate for your project, consult a local contractor with the specifics of your wall.
Yes, there are other projects you can tackle at the same time when building a wall. Upgrading to energy-efficient windows or doors can enhance your home’s sustainability and can be integrated into the wall construction process. You might also consider removing existing walls to create an open-concept layout or building a home addition for extra space. Coordinating multiple projects can be cost-effective and streamline your renovation timeline. Discuss your goals with a contractor to help you plan effectively and maximize the benefits of your renovation.
The cost to build a partition wall varies depending on the size and type you choose. Half walls that don't reach the ceiling cost about $10 to $20 per linear foot . Full partition walls made with drywall may cost more due to additional materials and labor. Prices for accordion or panel walls vary widely based on materials and design. Factors like electrical work, insulation, and finishes will also influence your total cost.
Framing is the backbone of wall construction, creating a secure structure that supports everything else. Quality framing ensures that studs, electrical wiring, and plumbing are properly integrated into your home's design. A professional installer uses reliable materials like wood or metal to build a framework that meets building codes and ensures your wall is durable and safe.
