"Alexis seems to still be learning the business side of drywall. His skill at texture is excellent. He needs to get better at communicating with the client, especially if he's going to be late."

"Prior to hiring Stucco Kings, we hired three other companies to make the repairs. The other three never showed up at the scheduled time to do the work. The gentleman from Stucco Kings were there as scheduled, their work was exceptional, and they were very polite. I would hire them again and will recommend them to family and friends without hesitation."

"Back in October of 2013 I started thinking about installing solar. After doing some research I decided to go with Verengo. I spent about 6 weeks talking back and forth with Jeremiah at Verengo. We went over and over just about every detail of the various solar plans, the contract, what to expect when installing, how the system works, savings, etc. He was very patient with me and thorough with his answers. 6 weeks later I decided to sign up for the prepaid plan.
Wow! Verengo has the whole installation process down to an art! They held my hand thru out the whole process with a steady stream of inspectors and contractors doing the rounds at my house over the next month. All the contractors were super nice and kept my yard clean of debris, arrived on time and answered all my questions. The new system looks great with only one exception. They had to sink 3 pieces of rebar along the sides of my house to properly ground the system. No big deal except they used metal flex wiring that came out the stucco below the electrical panel and then ran along the bottom edge of my house to the 3 ground poles. To me it looks a little sloppy and I would have preferred a hard conduit for a cleaner look. I'll be planting some shrubs to cover it up. I believe by November 19th the whole system was done and ready to turn on.
Sadly, I had to wait over a month for SCE to approve the system and allow me to turn on the solar panels. But once approval was given Verengo/Sunrun called me and walked me thru the process of activating my system. (Sunrun is the company that owns the solar panels and will be in charge of administering them).
The first month of having the new system I tracked my energy usage thru the Sunrun and SCE website and was a little disappointed to see I was still consuming more energy than I was producing due to cloudy days. However. the results from the last couple of months have been much better and I've been producing more electricity than I used. I'm excited to see the output as we go from Spring to Summer.

"I was not surprised to read and see that Landmark construction energy crew have such an excellent reputation online, as I would also recommend them and their jobs. We hired them to paint the exterior and interior of our house few months ago and they did a remarkable job. The job went on without any problem or issues even though we were not at the house part of the time due to a trip that we went on. The quality of the work that they did get into a minor delay and it took longer than expected, but it was not because of their fault. Before we hired Landmark construction energy crew, we had other contractors in at the same time and they were getting in each other’s way. When the paint project was completed, we were very satisfied with the final results. Our house looks brand new now and we can't say enough good things about how beautiful it came out. Charlie was the nicest and lovely man during the project and he was very in-depth, extremely detail oriented and he didn’t cut corners in any way. Charlie with his workers went above and beyond on our job to make us pleased and we felt like they treated our house as if it was his own. Charlie took pride in the job that they were doing and the final work can show that very clear. It’s sad to mention but those days, it’s very hard to find workers like that anymore. We also were very pleased with Jose (the main painter that ran the show when Charlie was not around). Joe stayed in close contact with Charlie and us as the job developed. The pricing for this whole work was very fair and they were willing to work around our though schedule. If you’re in need of a very good and reliable painting company, one who values your business and truly wants you to be satisfied when they are done, then hire Landmark construction energy crew. We never felt they just wanted to get the money and be done. Their first priority was our happiness! Thanks, Charlie and especially Jose."

Load-bearing walls support the weight of your home's structure, including floors, roofs, and other building components. Non-load-bearing walls, on the other hand, serve only as partitions or room dividers. All exterior walls are typically load-bearing, even if they have design features like bump-outs or large glass panels. These walls need precise construction to ensure your home's structural integrity.
Removing a wall costs anywhere from $300 to $10,000 , depending on the size and whether it's load-bearing. Removing load-bearing walls is a more labor-intensive process and typically costs more. To get an accurate estimate for your project, consult a local contractor with the specifics of your wall.
Yes, there are other projects you can tackle at the same time when building a wall. Upgrading to energy-efficient windows or doors can enhance your home’s sustainability and can be integrated into the wall construction process. You might also consider removing existing walls to create an open-concept layout or building a home addition for extra space. Coordinating multiple projects can be cost-effective and streamline your renovation timeline. Discuss your goals with a contractor to help you plan effectively and maximize the benefits of your renovation.
The cost to build a partition wall varies depending on the size and type you choose. Half walls that don't reach the ceiling cost about $10 to $20 per linear foot . Full partition walls made with drywall may cost more due to additional materials and labor. Prices for accordion or panel walls vary widely based on materials and design. Factors like electrical work, insulation, and finishes will also influence your total cost.
Framing is the backbone of wall construction, creating a secure structure that supports everything else. Quality framing ensures that studs, electrical wiring, and plumbing are properly integrated into your home's design. A professional installer uses reliable materials like wood or metal to build a framework that meets building codes and ensures your wall is durable and safe.
