"The overall experience was exceptional. Luis meet with my wife and I and did a walk thru of the property and provided us with an estimate within an hour of the walk-thru. I already had heard excellent things about his company from numerous co-workers who had FDC paint their home. I truly feel like we got an extreme value in terms of the service we received for the price. Since our house was a new build, we had a number of cracks and nail pops associated with the home settling. Also, entire house to include walls ceiling and trim was a blah beige. Needless to say, FDC had their work cut out for them. Luis and his team skimmed and sanded all these areas and repaired the drywall making the necessary repairs as part of their prep work. Once painting had begun, he provided a daily up date on the project and sent pictures. We meet on numerous occasions to go over things and I was blown away by he and his crews attention to detail. He not only meet the deadline but was able to get the whole house done a day early. He and his team treated our home like it was their own. Not a single corner was cut and he went above and beyond to make the house perfect. I recommend Luis and FDC Proffesional Painting to anyone who is looking to transform their home and eliminate all stress. "It went very well. Shalom Home Solutions' representative, Amilcar was punctual, listened to my requests, and offered not to charge for some minor things I asked for, which was very nice. I also like the fact that Amilcar and his crew were able to solve minor issues that occurred during the project, instead of waiting for me to solve them, which would have delayed the project. Project was done before the agreed deadline. I inspected their work and was very satisfied. Price was very reasonable and things were done as per our agreement. I definitely recommend Shalom Home Solutions and I would use them for my next project."

Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

"The quality of work is excellent.  Unfortunately, their boss directed his crew to ignore the obvious tilt of this old house, and we had to insist that the top of the closet doors be parallel to the ceiling!  He also got surly when my husband and I insisted that we both see the end result before paying him.  I hope this guy reverts to the personality we saw a couple of years ago and leaves the current one behind.

"It went well. Mario came out promptly to access the damage to my basement and gave me an estimate that was within my budget. The work was scheduled and completed within a week. The guys Antonio and Daniel repaired drywall, baseboards, shoe molding and replaced the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. They also painted two large walls. The guys did an excellent job matching the stain on the shoe molding. And I just love the bathroom floor...what a great job. The job was scheduled to be finished in one day but they had a problem finding the shoe molding that matched. They were back the day and all is well. What a great job guys. I will definitely use their services again."
