"Abe takes pride in his work and it shows in the timely and professional product he delivers. Abe went beyond my expectations on my project. There are so many people out there doing crappy work and ripping you off. I would highly recommend Abe and So Cal Drywall Service to anyone wanting quality work from an industry Professional."

"Best Builders removed and installed new kitchen at our house.
the kitchen that we had, was old and we wanted to update it in order to have more use.
Zohar, came to our home for the first time and was able to measure and show us some samples of the new cabinets.
after we selected the materials, he came again with the design of the new kitchen.
The work took place within a week from the day we signed the documents and it went smoothly. the demolition people worked for 2 days and then the floor and drywall people.
than the plumber and electrician did their part and when the new cabinets arrived to our home, the workers came over and install them within 2 days including some additions of hardware and plumbing.
.
The last stage was the counter top and some touch ups. this took several days but at the end, it was beautiful kitchen.
We are happy with the work and the quality.

"He did good, but later we realized many of the holes were patched uneven and required additional.work. We had to pay the painter to fix. In fairness to Al, we never called him back because we worried about the amount of time it would take to get him back workout interrupting the painter

"We are extremely satisfied with their professionalism and quality work. First we hired them to fix our roof. We spoke with Tom Cohen and Tom Aviton, both very professional, respectful, nice, and reasonable. The price was reasonable for a great job they did. They were on time and finished early!!! They were always communicating and were responsive to our questions and needs. We had a month of heavy rain afterwards with no issues with the roof! So we hired them again to replace our windows for a reasonable price! And we were equally satisfied with their professionalism and quality work! Tom Cohen was always accessible and even managed to change the delivery time in the last minute upon my request. The people they sent for both roof and window were very professional, reliable, and nice. We really enjoyed working with CIELO Company and Tom Cohen and Tom Aviton and will definitely hire them again for our future needs! We highly recommend them for anyone looking for a quality work and reasonable price!"

FAQs for drywall and plastering projects in Sugarloaf, CA

Load-bearing walls support the weight of your home's structure, including floors, roofs, and other building components. Non-load-bearing walls, on the other hand, serve only as partitions or room dividers. All exterior walls are typically load-bearing, even if they have design features like bump-outs or large glass panels. These walls need precise construction to ensure your home's structural integrity.

Removing a wall costs anywhere from $300 to $10,000 , depending on the size and whether it's load-bearing. Removing load-bearing walls is a more labor-intensive process and typically costs more. To get an accurate estimate for your project, consult a local contractor with the specifics of your wall.

Yes, there are other projects you can tackle at the same time when building a wall. Upgrading to energy-efficient windows or doors can enhance your home’s sustainability and can be integrated into the wall construction process. You might also consider removing existing walls to create an open-concept layout or building a home addition for extra space. Coordinating multiple projects can be cost-effective and streamline your renovation timeline. Discuss your goals with a contractor to help you plan effectively and maximize the benefits of your renovation.

The cost to build a partition wall varies depending on the size and type you choose. Half walls that don't reach the ceiling cost about $10 to $20 per linear foot . Full partition walls made with drywall may cost more due to additional materials and labor. Prices for accordion or panel walls vary widely based on materials and design. Factors like electrical work, insulation, and finishes will also influence your total cost.

Framing is the backbone of wall construction, creating a secure structure that supports everything else. Quality framing ensures that studs, electrical wiring, and plumbing are properly integrated into your home's design. A professional installer uses reliable materials like wood or metal to build a framework that meets building codes and ensures your wall is durable and safe.
