"Affordable Home Repairs-Sam Cannella Do not hire this contractor. His work is good but his personality is very unprofessional. He belittled me, made me feel stupid and incompetent, complained about everything, only worked 3-4 hours a day and overcharged. An example of his personality . His van leaks oil. He asked me to lay down cardboard in my driveway so his van did not leak oil on the driveway- which was thoughtful. However, one day I did not put the cardboard exactly right. He got of his van and hit his fist twice on the side of his van. It was not my responsibility as a customer to provide cardboard for the van. He should have brought the cardboard with him and put in the spot he wanted. He complained I did not have beverages on hand for him. Not my responsibility to provide beverage to contractors. Told me that he was using his tools to complete my projects. Every contractor I have hired has always provided their own tools. That is part of the job. Not sure why he even made the comment. He also told said and I quote Well knowing you, you do not care how things look. First of all that is not a comment you make to a customer. Second, I would not be trying to fixing up the house if I did not care how things looked. Sam is honest and supplied me with his tax number. He agreed to replace the ceiling fan he had installed (because it was wobbly) with a ceiling light. I told him I would pay for the light if he would install for free. When I l left a text message (because I wanted in writing) to state I had purchased the light and I wanted to confirm I was not going to be charged. Sam replied (actual statement) Why do you feel the need to remind me on things?? Do you think I just started yesterday? Being a single lady, I have used contractors for over 20 years and have never had a problem with one until Sam. My other contractors always treated me with respect; in fact, several of them have become friends. I am nervous about posting this review that Sam will vandalize the outside of my house. If I have any damage, he will be the first one I suspect."

"I am so grateful to Grandview Construction for our beautiful, new kitchen and master shower! They also painted our entire first floor including the trim. Our experience with Jeremy and his wonderful crew was A+mazing! Their workmanship was excellent, and Jeremy was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. The crew was friendly, professional and clearly experts at what they do. One of them has almost 30 years of experience in the industry. Jeremy and his crew provided many helpful details about the project from start to finish and was quick to let us know if any issues arose. When they had to make any adjustments they explained the reasons and were very patient in answering all of our questions and since this was our very first kitchen remodel we had a lot of questions. "I have house that is rental unit on the 2nd floor that was built in 1896. It needed some plastering done to the kitchen ceiling and the living room ceiling in a few areas. It was plastered before, but needed retouching since it was missing something. I searched for a company who does exceptional work with the proof and years of experience. We prefer wet plaster over dry, so did checking and found ZMartin Plastering on Angi. The company had high ratings and the work looked great, so we scheduled Brian Zmuda to come out and look at what needs to be done. Brian came out me out promptly for an estimate and went over what the issues were with the ceiling in both areas and explained it thoroughly so I could understand and told me what materials as far as the paint, plaster, and more and how he was going to do it, and even showed me this insurance and then quoted me a fair price. I was happy and then scheduled him to come out in three weeks. Brian came out three weeks later on 05/23/23 after we were finishing stucco painting and he began to work. I could tell he knew about doing plaster work for an older house. He started with the two ceilings and did it in order and was clean using the right materials. He plastered it well leaving no mess and with wet plaster, and then once he finished he explained that the plaster dry's in less then a week and told me house spot primer first in the area before applying paint which where are doing for the whole apartment's unit. I was happy and knew he was skilled and explained what materials you are suppose to use and he also does stucco is great to know snice we have some stucco repair on our main house to do. I can highly recommend ZMarting for any paltering work and he seems very honest and did not take long so her reduce the price since it was simple job. We will be working with him in the future. His work is fantastic. Could not be any happier."
