"It was a very busy time for the company due to all the storm damage, but the owner came out to our home within a few days, after hours, to accommodate our work schedule to inspect the damaged fence and property. He was very personable and carefully examined the fence and damage and went over multiple options with us and his recommendations. There were a few areas that didn’t need replacing and he did not try to oversell and was willing to work with us. We told him we wanted the fence done the right way and wanted it to be sturdy and last as long as possible. He took his time with us, sent us a bid promptly by email and answered all of our questions. There was some question as to the property line and Dick came out again so he could be here when the surveyor came. We made a couple changes to the scope of work and he came and met its us again to go over everything. We had also gotten an estimate from another company but they seemed impersonal, didn’t follow through with questions asked and oversold what needed to be done. The crew came out on time, were friendly but professional and easy to have around. If there were any problems or questions the owner, Dick, was very responsive and made sure everything was done right . We are very happy with our fence and would definitely hire them again"

"Ryan is professional, capable and fair with his pricing. He did a great job installing chain link fencing and multiple gates on my property. I have a lot of established plants and he was very careful working around them. I can recommend Diamond Fence without hesitation to anyone who needs chain link fencing installed."

"Ray and his company NW Elite Fencing and Construction removed our old fence and installed a new one. We were most impressed with Ray when he came to assess what was needed. He was clear and answered our questions. He gave his bid soon after his visit. He and his crew did very fine work. His crew was considerate of plants and areas in which they worked. We hired the company because a neighbor had an entire fence installed by NW Elite Fencing and Construction , and we liked the way it looked. There was no disappointment. Our fence is beautiful. "Justin's work ethic, focus and organizational skills were evident throughout the project . The fence he built has provided aesthetic privacy, he did it according to his timeframe estimate, and he went the extra mile to remove old fencing and prunings. Would definitely recommend him for your fence build projects."

"They requested estimate or arrived quickly, and with two adjustments after contacting adjacent homeowners, the fence was started within a week and finished in two days, the crew was extremely careful with my wife’s garden and upcoming plants. We were very fortunate that the sun was out during the installation. The fence is beautiful all three of our neighbors and ourselves are very pleased with the final result. I would highly recommend hiring this group. I had six estimates for this fence ranging from $9000-$23,000 all using the same materials so be careful when looking at estimates prices range from $50-$100 running linear foot We paid $49 a linear foot."

Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.
Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.
Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
