Jerry came out and measured the area, described the work, and the fence material..I had a large hedge that needed to be removed in order t install the new fence. Jerry recommended a gardener who could get that done. Because I was unable to meet the gardener, Jerry met with him and coordinated the hedge removal and new fence installation. Our job consisted of replacing 250 linear feet of falling down wood fence with 3 adjoining neighbors, a somewhat tricky hardscape issue, and the need to contain high-jumping cats. Their Sales Manager, Eric Prien, did an admirable job coordinating things with our neighbors (even one we were having trouble getting on board) including getting their payments for their share of the job, and he also took good care of us throughout the process. His estimate was fair & quickly obtained and he followed up with us a number of times as we moved closer to starting the job. The installation crew was knowledgeable, friendly, capable, on time, and clean up was pretty good. UC Fence is fully insured for liability & W/C and have all the necessary licenses and bonding. As in life, not everything is perfect â and this is especially true when hiring contractors to do a job you care about being done right. "The fence is beautiful. The problem I had is that our neighbor didn't go in with half the cost. He had someone to do the job cheaper. I stayed with this company and the guy told me they could put it in front of the old fence. So they saved time and labor plus haul away expense and did not give me much of a discount. I am a senior and on a fixed income."
