"Was looking to get a Safety Hand Rail installed at the entrace to the house from the garage for my parents. Was looking for something that would be functional and would look nice w/o being too fancy. Most handyman services discussed custom iron rail handrails that needed to be cut/adjusted on site and could easily run into $400-$500 for even the most basic design. Spoke with Ron and after listening to me, he proposed a simple wood system that would get attached to the floor and wall and a handrail on top. He had me supply measurements and pictures of the entrace, sourced the material and painted all the pieces before arriving and got everything installed over 2 days. The 2nd day was mainly to source the proper brakets for the hand rail after I changed how I wanted it installed. He really takes the time to listen to the customers request and provides feedback on what is doable. Very easy to work with and takes alot of pride in doing things well and correctly and not rushing. Will definately use Ron again for larger project also. BTW, he kept the final price at his original quote of $200 and saved me money over all the other custom quotes."

"I was hesitant at first because it felt a bit strange for a door salesman to be knocking doors during a global pandemic, but I am glad we answered! Brad was knowledgeable and gave an amazing presentation. He showed us the ins and outs of the windows, the history of the company, and provided numbers to back up his words. We live in a two story and from 1pm until sunset the front of the house faces the sun. It is very difficult to keep the upstairs cool, and the number one reason is the windows letting in so much heat. So, Brad showed us the heat lamp demonstration, and that was all it took. We bought 5 windows, and although it took 3 months before they installed, we felt the difference IMMEDIATELY. Iâ m hoping out electric bill is noticeably lower as well. Couldnâ t be happier, unless they were installed sooner but since they are custom made, I understand."

"Guy and his team did excellent work! We are having a baby next Spring and needed to adapt our indoor spiral staircase to be childproof. Guy was very consultative and helped us understand the scope of the project, explained how he would protect our carpet and walls. We ended up adding 3 spindles in between each stair (about 20 stairs) and added a mesh metal in between each riser. Chicago Fence and Welding worked tirelessly for 3 days to complete the project and we could not be more satisfied with their work.
