"Christmas night I drove home and the inside of my garage looked like a water park, I called him and he left his home Christmas night to come help me. You just don't find that anymore. He took care of me and made me feel better."

"Hershberger Gates did a great job adding a Ghost Control system to my driveway gates. I had an old system that failed and had lived with manually opening and closing the gates. I was hesitant to give the job to Hershberger because I was a bit out of his physical jurisdiction, but Spencer persuaded me that he was the right guy for the job and said he’d have no problem servicing me if I had an issue (although he said the Ghost System is very reliable). Spencer said he’d be at my place at 6:30 am…I thought he was joking…he wasn’t…and he was right on time. The system operates great… very substantial….the remotes are fantastic and the Ghost app on my iphone is even better. He thought he’d be here for 6-7 hours and he was done in approximately 4. Great honest guys! I’m a very happy customer in Asheville, NC."

Reliable, high-quality mobile welding and custom metal fabrication brought straight to your site. Whether you need structural repairs, heavy equipment fixes, or custom metal work, I deliver clean work, fair pricing, and dependable service every time. Fully equipped to handle both residential and commercial projects.
Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.
Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.
Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
