"The guys at City Wide have been extremely helpful regarding our fence. We had a fence put up three months ago by them (it looked beautiful), and some strong winds took down a six foot gate this week. City Wide was responsive, sent someone out to take a look within 24 hours of my call, and will be making the repairs at no cost to us, despite the fact that they didn't have to. I am super appreciative of their actions and would highly recommend them."

"We got a fence May not be exactly what we asked for but it's a fence. Never came back to make corrections. His crew didnt seem to know what they were doing. But...we have a fence. Communicated real well prior to install."

"TPM is an excellent company to do business with. They built my fence on the property just after I bought it so that I had a run for my dogs. Fence and three gates are very solid and one of them is large enough for my 48” riding mower. In other words the work they do is customized to your needs. They also built my 24’X 36’ workshop and I could not be happier with it. My only regret is that I did not have TPM pour the concrete slab as they would have done that work cheaper and the quality would have been far better. TPM just recently added a 10’X24’ lean to shed for my workshop so that I can now store my tractor out of the weather. There is nothing I would not trust TPM to do for me and I would give them the highest recommendation. Really good people doing excellent work!!!"

"Nathan of Top Rail Fence Dayton and his crew did an awesome job. From start to finish Nathan kept us informed on where the project was at. Nathan is a up front person and the way he and his crew performed they did the work like it was there own. I highly recommend Top Rail Fence Dayton for all your fencing needs. "My wrought Iron fence had a lot of rust. It is 60ft in length. I called a couple companies (including the company that originally installed it). They stated they would need to take the fence down to have it sand blasted. I didn't want to do that since I was worried about the re-installation due to the type of pavers that it is bolted into. I found Mobile Arc who was willing to do the work in place. They did a fantastic job and the fence looks like knew. Kyle was very conscientious and great to work with. I would highly recommend him for this type of work. Not only does it look like new, but it was accomplished for a fraction of what the other companies were wanting to charge. I would definitely hire him again."

"Chad expertly completed trim work in an upstair room. He added crown molding at the top of two bookcases and replaced missing baseboards on one wall. It was very well done, including matching stain. The additions were imperceptible. I was impressed with his skill and attention to detail. I would definitely use recommend Woodland Creations."

Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.
Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.
Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
