"Benjamin is a Craftsman who takes great pride in his workmanship. We had him repair 3 antique pieces of furniture for us. On one large piece he had to totally recreate a carved foot that had been damaged by termites and had crumbled and broken off. On another piece that had a carved wood drawer handle missing, he was able to carve a handle to match that looks beautiful. He also refinished the tops of two of the pieces that were chipped and stained and they look absolutely beautiful. The piece that he had replaced the carved foot on looked so good that after he brought it back I asked him if he could do something about the side of the piece where part of it looked all bleached out but there was a hand-painted rose in the center and I thought there was nothing that could be done about it. He sanded the bleached out part from top to bottom and then proceeded to mix powdered colors together and wipe them on and dab darker colors in certain spots to make it look natural and it just came out absolutely beautiful. I stood there watching him do it and still had a hard time believing how great it came out. He said he has had the box with all the different powder colors for over 49 years. He also told us how to repair some other pieces ourselves that had water stains, Etc. on them using sandpaper and wiping them with Old English Oil. They came out great! If this app will not let me add photos I will put some on my Google Maps review. Benjamin is a true artist who absolutely loves what he does and has a great appreciation for beautiful wood and beautiful furniture. I read all the reviews before I called him and I saw a few people complaining about him being hard to understand, not showing up exactly when they wanted him to, driving an old junky van, etc. He does have a thick accent and I have trouble understanding him sometimes, especially on the telephone. His gift is not diction, time management, or fancy vehicle acquisition. His gift is furniture restoration."

"I have a recliner sectional sofa that is in beautiful condition, except for being a little saggy and flat from everyday use. Larry, Betty and Alex came out and COMPLETELY transformed it. It is now plush and firm and looks brand new. They also fixed a broken cable and did a bit of work underneath to tighten things up. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone that has a need for repair or work on their furniture. It is hard to find trustworthy people to come into your house to perform a service such as this and I consider myself very lucky for finding them."

"I called Rickey based on the many reviews on HomeAdvisor in which his clients stated that once they hired him, they never hired anyone else. I now count myself among that group! First, he actually answered the phone when I called the first time. My main project was to repair tile that was falling down in my guest bathroom. I also had some other handyman projects. Rickey talked me through everything and even suggested I stop by Floor & Decor to pick out some tile as they were having a sale. He recommended I focus on less expensive tile for the main work and add in decorative glass tile for a special touch. It would save me money and look great (he was right!). When he came by to take a look at everything and give me his quote, he didn't try to up sell me on anything. Once the work began, both him and his colleague Chad were on time, professional and paid attention to every detail. I ended up having them do quite a bit of projects around my home during the four days they were there. Rickey didn't even charge me for most of the repairs they made. I am happy to have found Rickey.
