He also restored several pieces of furniture to a pristine level: â brand newâ in an antique sense. After he was done, the gouges, chips, and knicks in the surface were visually gone. By doing this beforehand it eliminated the need for the movers to go in and out of my 2nd fl apartment other than to retrieve the heavier items.
