It was easy to make a drawing of my table using the materials and instructions they mailed to me. I chose the colors for the top and bottom and sent in my order. 
The pads fit perfectly and give me great piece of mind. Our beautiful teak table has been damaged over the years and I didn't want to get it refinished until I had a way to protect it. Now, I just have wait for an Angie's List furniture refinishing deal.

"It went extremely well. I called Jason, owner of the company, to schedule the appointment. He was able to schedule my condo in less than a week. Michael was the man that was assigned to us. He called exactly at 8:00 a.m. to tell me he would be 15 minutes late. He arrived exactly 15 minutes later. Michael was totally professional, friendly and efficient. He went through my list repairing each item. He even went above and beyond what was on my list by repairing things I had not included. I asked him to use caulk to fill a hold on the rear of my bathroom counter. He noticed that the caulk on both sides of the counter needed extra caulk so he went ahead and completed the work. When fixing the window Michael noticed that the window shade did not go up properly. He removed the shade and fixed it so it would work properly."

"Paul is a great person to deal with. Going into this project my wife and I were somewhat leary of hiring a small privately owned business as we had some issues that sparked the NEED for cabinets. He was very easy-going and worked with us and our needs. He finished the work in a timely fashion and for prices compareable to that of a MUCH LOWER grade product from those big chains. He installed the cabinetry in our house in a day and it looks PHENOMINAL... He was on time when he said he would be there, and got to work quickly on the repair. He kept me informed along the way and did a nice job repairing my furniture. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"Dealing with House Doctors in Chesterfield was a refreshing experience compared to other handymen/contractors I have had experience with.  The owner, Steve, came out to inspect the work that needed to be done.  He then emailed me an estimate that was very reasonable.  I contacted customer service to set up a date for the door installation; the receptionist told me that Dan, the handyman, would be here between 9:15 and 9:30 on the date we scheduled.  Dan showed up at 9:20, and he was finished by 10:45.  I appreciate the promptness and efficient way the job was completed, and the thorough clean up as well.  I will definitely use House Doctors again!"
