She said they had a problem with the machine that made the locking mechanism work. The problem had been corrected and they would send me another. I did not have to return the defective one. They gave me a time that the new one would be done and delivered and their estimate was exact as to the time that it would take. They were highly professional and made me feel like I mattered to them. I am highly satisfied. The new one is perfect. They offered a good selection of finishes for the top and color for the bottom of the pads. The new pad was carefully packaged and arrived in terrific condition. "It went great! Shawn came up to install some cabinets and we realized that kitchen sink was not gonna sit center to the wall or underneath the window. (Note- these cabinets were not made by furniture medic). Shawn quickly figured out a solution by shortening the width of one of the cabinets. He took it back to the shop and had it completed in just a few days. Which was super important as the countertops were going to be installed shortly after he had it done.
