"I hired Alec to remove some wet drywall in my bathroom and see if you could lift the ceiling in the shower. He completed both jobs in a timely manner for a good price and stayed in contact throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!"

"I was truly impressed by the exceptional quality of service provided by the Dun-Rite Window & Door Company. They are to be applauded for their fine workmanship and superior customer service. I selected this company after reading the positive reviews on Angie’s List and talking to the owner, Dino Trasatti. After Mr. Trasatti inspected my old doors, he described the types of doors available and identified the designs and styles that would complement my home. The doors he recommended were highly rated for their durability to endure and backed by an impressive warranty. Dino was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions. The two door installers did an amazing job. After the meticulous installation and cleanup, I received an instructive tutorial which included an overview of the locking mechanisms and a demonstration of how to quickly change the screen doors to glass storm doors. This helpful information eliminated the need to read an instruction manual. I would recommend Dun-Rite Window & Door Company to others with no hesitation."

"Alex did a fantastic job hanging our 4'x6' mirrors!"

"Right from the start they were responsive and friendly.  We communicated by phone and email.  We sent them a picture of the window, measurements and explained that the evening sun was blinding us and heating the room, making it a room to avoid.  This huge room is our kitchen, living room and dining room.  The sun made it impossible to watch TV.  They gave us a quote for the work.
Since we live pretty far away from their location they promptly mailed us a bunch of letter sized tint samples for us to try.  None of them were quite dark enough and they mailed us some more samples.  We went with a dark tint, kind of like looking through sunglasses, but we still have a great view.  The good news is that it has tamed the sun and has really helped to reflect a lot of the heat, keeping the room cooler.
They were flexible with the install date and showed up on time.  The work was completed promptly and they cleaned up afterwards.  They were very nice and professional.
We were very happy with the whole process.

"Eric was very responsive and did a great job replacing my glass window and mirror in my server. I highly recommend him"

"In the end, I'm very pleased with my bathroom. It looks great and I feel that I received good value for my money. Which is why I'd recommend and hire again. However -- I have seen houses go up faster than my little bathroom updates were completed. First the estimate -- Bob came out right away and promised me an estimate that night or the next morning, but it was several days later that I received a not-very-professional estimate (I'm used to line items in an estimate so I know what the costs are... and I should have insisted on a time frame for completion). Next the glass (3 weeks became more like 6 due to issues with the first vendor and other unknown reasons. My guess is that the owner is not as organized as he could be and things fall through the cracks and were forgotten for a few days or more). That being said -- he was EXTREMELY responsive... no text or call went more than five minutes without being returned. He also was certain to make sure I was happy, replacing a few tiles I thought might be cracked and in general wanting to have a satisfied customer which I am. Steve -- who did the work -- was very friendly, punctual, and professional. Finally, I think his price was very fair and my bathroom went from looking like an afterthought to a showpiece. If time is not an issue, I'd hire Avalon again. If it is, I still might hire them -- but I'd get them to commit to a timeline and stick to it."
