Original ridge vent was installed when the roof was replaced in 2010 by Wilson's Roofing of Bay County. After a full year of use I had the ridge vent inspected by two other roofing companies and found that the vent was not done correct. It was causes a strong odor in the house due to the fact that the hot air was back flowing into the living area.
