"I have done a lot of remodel projects and J-S Contracting's work
and product offered has been of my best experiences.  From the very
beginning when the project manager Debbie visited the site to the final
installation - the process was flawless and we are quite pleased.  Debbie
came out and explained why their gutters and leaf covers are so effective
compared to competition.  We live in a very wooded area with pine needles
and needed leaf guards that passed a lot of water yet out the leaves in the
long term.  We went with the Black Maxx cover guards.
I hoped to have the gutters replaced when the roof was done but due to expenses
we to wait a year.  The following year I contacted Debbie and she
remembered us and our house - we continued right where we left off.  She
sent me gutter sample colors within 2 days so i could work with a colorist to
match the roof and new paint for the house.  
Ryan came out to remove gutters prior to painter?s arrival.  We have a
older home and wanted to make sure the fascia boards were not damaged.
 During removal, Ryan was so careful with my garden and priceless trees
that surround the house.  
A week later the installers arrived and were so professional and took the time
to explain and show how the covers worked installed. 
I try to support local businesses when I can and J-S contracting is the best.

"The roof went well and the crew worked all day to complete the job. It looks great. However, they did damage a small overhanging roof by standing on it, bent the satellite dish and left it hanging off the eaves. They also left a pile of supplies behind. It took three weeks to get them to come back and do the repairs needed for the little roof and pick up the supplies. The new gutters were not as deep as the old gutters and the installer did not back the rafter edges with a facia board. The ends of the rafters hang below the gutters. One portion of the gutter does not rest on the base of the rafters. I am still waiting for the installer to come back and repair as promised. It has been almost two months."

"Overall, Guardian did a great job. The Super, everyone at the office, and the site manager were all very professional and helpful. The roof is exactly as we wanted it, and it was certainly fair value for the money. I would have given 5 full stars except for a couple of things: 1) my project was planned a few weeks out, they still had to move the start date twice on the day(s) it was supposed to start; 2) the chimney rebuild was great, except they didn't cap the chimney, which let water in when it rained a few days later, and my wife had to point it out to the Super on his wrap-up visit/inspection - no one else caught it, including the guys who actually rebuilt the chimney; 3) still waiting on gutters to arrive (I could go pick them up myself at HD or Lowes), even though the work is done and was an original part of the order - it is going to be 5 or 6 days before they come back to add the gutters. Probably one of the easiest aspects of the job, which was part of the original work order, but is taking longer to finish than the roof itself. Is the roof awesome? Absolutely. Did Guardian do a great job? Yes. I would definitely hire Guardian again."
