"The company was very responsive to my request and scheduled an appointment to meet with the designer. Lily, the designer, arrived on time and was attentive and observant. She proposed an idea for the yard's design that was quite appealing. She offered suggestions to complete my incomplete ideas which left me excited, for the first time in a very long time, about the attractiveness and curb appeal of my home. Following the consultation, I received a rendering of her proposal. Lily worked with me, answered all my questions, and provided photos of gardens that had the "feel" of my project. The crew arrived and tackled my unkempt yard removing weeds, old mulch material and soil to make way for the 3 inches of pea gravel, edging and new mulch! They even tidied up my crepe myrtle and repurposed the river rock at the curbside (I thought those stones would be trashed!). The transformation gave my home an instant "facelift"! "I hired Baumann's Lawn and Landscape to fix my front lawn. The soil was mostly clay and sand and covered in weeds. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. You'll get your money's worth for your project. Baumann's will be my #1 choice for future landscape projects."

"I have extensive damage to my lawn due to moles, so I needed to have the whole lawn reseeded. I decided to have the lawn aerated with their two direction aerator and then seeded. They said your lawn would be thick come spring time and would have very few if any weeds. They were right, grass even grew in shaded areas that would never take shade seed. They left you with a small bag of sun seed and small bag of shade seed to touch up any areas that need some attention. Very happy with the results. I used a little of the shade seed in the spring and that was all."

"If you have a yard with a lot of trees, the tree roots will drive the cost of installing underground sprinkler systems through the roof! Also, just because you install a sprinkler system, don't expect a lot of grass growth if you have a lot of shade trees in your yard. Better to install shade tolerant ground cover."
