"I asked the owner for a quick price estimate of taking care of my yard.  The bid came back the highest (10X the lowest bid and 4x of whom I ended up choosing).  He talked about his team's professionalism highly, and I trust him based upon the review from the rest of the Angie's list customer reviews.  Still, I think he padded the quote way too much.  Also the estimated work time he gave me was ridiculous. Even I could have cleaned the yard by myself at that speed (but not 4 strong professional workers).  Finally, he overstated on what can happen to my plants if I did not use his "professional care".  I am glad I did not listen to him, but just went for it with only  a few words of advice form the bidder I ended up using.  Nothing died or is looking bold as he predicted.

"Joe and his team did an incredible job! I can’t believe how great our backyard looks and how functional it is. In less than 1.5 days, Joe’s team removed rocks and other debris, extended our garden beds, planted 14 arborvitae trees, some lilac bushes, and a flowering dogwood tree. They set up our raised gardening area, laid a weed barrier, grass barrier and bark so it is beautiful and functional. They also removed a small pool and pavers and replaced with sod. They also laid a drip line that is easily controlled by our existing sprinkler system. Joe was super easy to work with and very accommodating. He understood my vision and had great suggestions for design. Would definitely work with Joe again!"
