I have also had them quote and used their services for additional yard related projects. The response time on these requests, both the quote and the service, have been prompt and well executed. I have had other services manage my lawn care and rate Grass Doctor amongst the best for value, professionalism and quality."

"I've used them for several years to maintain a midsized suburban lawn. The current fee for this is $165 monthly. The crews show up on time, are courteous, and do a good job, but there are improvements the company could make. Even though the fee is billed monthly, in December and part of January there is no service. The lawn is dormant, but if I'm paying monthly, I expect some kind of yard maintenance that could be done during the winter in return. I've also had spotty service fixing lawn irrigation issues, and the staff is not well trained about limiting damage or cleanup issues to the home related to their work. Leaf blower use damages the siding and removes topsoil, and edge trimming often sprays mud up onto the walls, which must be cleaned up frequently. I think they rely too much on leaf blowers instead of using rakes in areas where the blowers create problems. The company has never asked for my feedback about their service and how it could be improved."

"These guys do our regular lawn maintenance as well as gutter cleaning. Recently they also planted two shrubs and took a load of things to the dump. Always clean up nicely afterwards and are quick and pleasant to work with. We're happy to have them doing our mowing and edging and will continue to ask for other things as they come up. "Douglas came out and gave me an estimate and said he would do the work the next day. Unfortunately, it rained. He left me a message a couple of days later telling me that 2 men were on the way and they arrived a short while later. Thank you, Douglas! I believe their names were Ralph and Francisco. They were very nice and very professional. They had to use pick axes and shovels but they got out every bit of the stumps and roots of large shrubs that had been in place for 20 years! The put in some nice new soil. Then Francisco carried a very heavy plant and planter from the back yard to the front on his shoulder! Pretty amazing! They dug a nice large hole for the pittosporum and were very careful to plant it so that it looked just right. They cleaned everything up and it looked wonderful! Then they pruned several severely overgrown mugo pines. I was very concerned about doing this because I was afraid they'd end up looking sparse afterwards. These guys really know what they're doing. The shrubs look fantastic! I couldn't believe they could look that nice! And, of course, they cleaned up everything afterwards. There was not a leaf or any dirt left anywhere. I was very impressed, and I'm a pretty critical person. I have their card and will not hesitate to call them again if I need any kind of landscaping service. Highly recommended!
