"Adam Graswick, the owner, is knowledgeable in what he does. He was very responsive to questions or needs we had about our yard. We could always count on them to mow our yard on our scheduled day. They also performed mulching as well as installed new landscaping to our front and back, replacing old overgrown shrubs. "We had a great experience with SPL Lawn Care who replaced our 34-year-old tie wall with Versa Lok weathered walnut stone and caps, along with the most fabulous irregular stone steps. It was exactly the look I wanted, a price that was the best available by a huge margin (as Ty did not pad by “selling” us more wall than we needed nor did he add surcharges for materials that had to be ordered), and his work came with the product distributor’s recommendations as the best contractor. Ty did not know we called; now he does and this reference was terrific. The job was completely quickly with Ty and a crew of four in three days. They were respectful of us and our property. Ty’s communicate on each day was excellent and his employees were very professional and polite. I like using local businesses and this reinforces the strength of our community. We are in Evans City. My husband and I are starting to need updates to our yard and help with our property. Ty is someone we would use again!!"

Overall, we are extremely pleased with the way our yard/landscaping looks and the job that they performed.  While we had asked that they merely 'top off' the already existing mulch in the beds, due to the lack of experience using this type of mulch they began to thickly apply the nuggets and then ended up needing to purchase another 4-5 yards of bark to finish the job costing us approximately another $400 that we had not expected.  In addition (and I am being picky), when asked to thin out a lilac bush to help the blooming season next year, it was barely touched. And when asked to cut off all the suckers at the bottom of another bush, they cut them back but not all the way to the 'trunk' leaving leaves at the base where I wanted it bare.  Some of the cuttings from the grass plants and other shrubbery were also simply covered in mulch rather than cleaned up before spreading the nugget as well as some grass that had begun to spread into the edge of the plantings which I will now have to go out and weed or spray with grass killer. 

 I would definitely use this company again and plan to in the future.  However, I will probably be much more specific in my directions due to the age/experience of the actual young men on site.
