"Due to my new role as a primary caregiver, I decided to research a local lawn service provider. After careful consideration, I decided to use Moyer Lawn Service & Landscaping even though the providers wasn’t the cheapest. I started with the regular routine mowing service. Then decided to use Moyer for a special clean up project. Jose and his 6 men crew started the special yard clean up project on June 14th at 8:00am. The crew expertise went directly to cutting back the ivy, honey suckle, bamboo, and VA creepers on the chain link fence. Pruning the shrubs, Azaleas deadwood, cut down some small trees. Also include some general yard area maintenance. The end result was a picture perfect yard done by a well qualified landscaping crew."

For this project, we asked them to design a conservation garden using native plants that would qualify for the Montgomery County Rainscapes program rebate. We appreciated the design and careful consideration Angela made to provide us with native plants that would work well with our existing property. We really felt like she gave it her personal touch. "The company was very responsive to my request and scheduled an appointment to meet with the designer. Lily, the designer, arrived on time and was attentive and observant. She proposed an idea for the yard's design that was quite appealing. She offered suggestions to complete my incomplete ideas which left me excited, for the first time in a very long time, about the attractiveness and curb appeal of my home. Following the consultation, I received a rendering of her proposal. Lily worked with me, answered all my questions, and provided photos of gardens that had the "feel" of my project. The crew arrived and tackled my unkempt yard removing weeds, old mulch material and soil to make way for the 3 inches of pea gravel, edging and new mulch! They even tidied up my crepe myrtle and repurposed the river rock at the curbside (I thought those stones would be trashed!). The transformation gave my home an instant "facelift"! I can't wait to begin my container gardening which is the finishing touch that Lily inspired. I would definitely use MA Landscape & Design again!"

"I hired Baumann's Lawn and Landscape to fix my front lawn. The soil was mostly clay and sand and covered in weeds. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. You'll get your money's worth for your project. Baumann's will be my #1 choice for future landscape projects."

"I have extensive damage to my lawn due to moles, so I needed to have the whole lawn reseeded. I decided to have the lawn aerated with their two direction aerator and then seeded. They said your lawn would be thick come spring time and would have very few if any weeds. They were right, grass even grew in shaded areas that would never take shade seed. They left you with a small bag of sun seed and small bag of shade seed to touch up any areas that need some attention. Very happy with the results. I used a little of the shade seed in the spring and that was all."

"Wonderful experience!! This is the second time we have used Maryland Decking and Kyle Funk as our salesperson; they came in on budget for our project and in the time frame that we needed. Kyle is great, but we had a couple questions regarding the placement during installation, so he showed up day of installation with shovel in hand. They want things to be as right as we did, which is refreshing. GREAT customer service! The project consisted of extended a patio that we had done by them a few years ago, you would never know that it wasn’t original, blends perfectly and the crew couldn’t have been better, they worked hard and when we asked a question they stopped to listen and then gave us the answer without being annoyed. Left the site neat and clean too. Hard to find good workers, with good customer service while staying in budget and on time with a great salesperson on top of it!
