"The crew was supposed to arrive between 2 and 4.  At about 3:45, I got a call advising they were running very late on their previous job and didn't know when they would make it.  I called Dwayne who told me about a problem from the day before that was causing delays on our move day but he said he had another crew that was finishing up that he would reassign to us. It was about 4:45 before that crew headed our way and they were 45 minutes away. We had to get loaded and to the storage facility by 7pm or we wouldn't be able to get in so when they arrived at 5:30-ish, I told them they were going to have to hustle. They said OK and they did.  The crew was terrific (Chris, James "the first", James "the 2nd").  They were super polite and apologetic about the scheduling problems, even though they weren't even expecting to have to do our job (they had done an 8+ hour job already that day). They had a little over an hour to load the living room, dining room, bedroom plus another dresser, washer and dryer, and some other furniture from the basement, and they got it done! They got to the storage facility at 2 minutes till 7. I would have liked them to load a few other boxes that were packed up but the priority was on the heavy furniture.  The furniture has to be moved from the storage facility to my son's and daughter-in-law's new home once they close and we hope we can get the same crew for that.
