Scott carried it off with aplomb. He sorted out the rats' nests, rewired the switches to work properly, and was inventive in overcoming obstacles that might have daunted lesser repairmen. The final results were tidy, good-looking, and functional. It was indeed satisfying to watch him sort out the puzzles.
