We base our fees on those two criteria only. We will match any reasonable fee.\n\nContrary to conventional wisdom, the architect's fee represents a very small fraction of the total cost of your housing cost.\n\nThere is also substantial evidence that shows that a good set of architectural plans improves the overall quality of the project and usually results in a lower bid from the contractor. The contractor usually adds cost to the project to cover the unknown.\n\nWithout a set of drawings, "everything is an unknown".\n\nIf you own land and can not afford the upfront cost of an architect, call us and we may consider being your partner with a project equity position.
