Customers say: True professional
"Truthfully, I'd give 3 1/2 or 4 stars, but the work was done back in March 2020, just before major restrictions due to Covid-19 pandemic were enacted. POSITIVES: Provided printed materials for resources; offered reduced rate (if I remember) if I referred a friend to her; had/has a blog about decluttering (I chose to unsubscribe, but some people are into that). I commend her entrepreneurial spirit in offering virtual help during the pandemic shut down. I don't think that would've help me very much, personally, but it could be due to a generational difference (OK, I'm 60+ years old, and yes, it makes a difference). NEGATIVES (?): Organizer helped me clear out a storage section of my basement, only to distribute piles and boxes around the living area of basement for easy identification (donations to schools, Salv. Army or such, office organizers, etc.); unfortunately, three to five days later, all those places were shut down and no longer accepted donations. It's only been since April or May 2021 that I've been able to start clearing out some of those sections."

"Man sent to do various odd jobs in Germantown--install blinds, TV mount, cabinet, etc.--was efficient and easy to communicate with. Did exactly what I needed with quality work and kept me informed of any problems he encountered. Price was reasonable."

"I am leaving this review regarding Medallion Security Door and Window Company. In addition, as a customer I rate them with 5 stars. Why? First of all Medallion installed my back security door about 20 years ago, and I still use it, it's a little rusty now but that's due to my neglect. Second, I visited Medallion's show room in late June 2022. Erlin R. showed me around and provided just what I needed in terms of assistance, information and professionalism. Peter, came out a week or so later and measured my front entrance and on July 13th. 2022 Caesar and crew came out and installed front security door. I am satisfied 100%, plus I have received information on how to care for door which is a plus for my investment. THANKS MEDALLION & GOD BLESS. Sinclair H."

"Great company, fast and efficient. Little costly at $70 an hour per person. We spent $3700 for 15 hours, worth the cost. They began fast, within a day!"

A professional organizer transforms your space by helping you declutter and create a more functional home. They will assess your needs, develop and implement customized organizational systems, and offer guidance on maintaining order. With their expertise, you can revitalize cluttered areas and enjoy long-term organization. Consult a local home organizer for more information about the specific types of services they provide.
Professional home organizers charge either by the hour or by the project, depending on the scope of work and their level of experience. Hourly rates for professional organizers range from $55 to $100, while project rates are common for significant room overhauls or organizing multiple rooms. To determine the exact cost, meet with a local home organizer, describe your project, and request a detailed quote.
Hiring a professional organizer can be a great asset when planning a garage sale. As you declutter your home, they can help identify items suitable for sale and provide valuable advice on organizing and pricing them effectively. This collaboration not only streamlines the process but could also make your garage sale more successful and even help offset some of the organizing costs.
Professional organizers don't need a license, but many of them pursue certifications and additional training to enhance their expertise. These credentials can demonstrate their commitment to the field and provide you with confidence in their skills. For specialized services—like hiring a feng shui consultant—additional certifications may indicate they have the specific knowledge required for your project.
The time it takes to organize your home can vary from a couple of hours to a week, depending on the project's scope and the professional you hire. Additional factors like room size and the amount of clutter will influence the project timeline. Experienced organizers or companies often complete the job faster, efficiently transforming your space into a well-organized haven.
