His son, Mike, worked with their very competent and friendly crew on the tear-out and preparation and then, after a week or so of letting the base settle, Wayne and Mike worked together on the installation, handling the paving machine alongside each other, while their good crew handled the rolling and finishing. Wayne was the only person who bid my job to point out a probable deterioration of the front foundation of my 53 year-old garage, which supports the concrete garage floor. He brought in a cement sub-contractor to build a new base in front of and under the garage floor, before proceeding with the driveway installation. The problem on one side was even worse than Wayne anticipated. This fix has the double benefit of saving the garage floor from breaking down and insuring that the new asphalt will not sink below the level of the floor. All in all, this was a great job and the price was quite reasonable, as well."
