"The Alex Evans crew removed the 10 year old repaving and repaved the driveway using two coats of asphalt. They cleaned up the edges and flattened the low spots. They did a great job at the interface between the new paving and my existing stone pavers of my front walk and my rear patio. The removed the old surface and hauled away all the debris on one day. The repaving was delayed one day because of heavy rain. The result looks great. The crew did a great job of cleaning up afterward. They avoided any damage to my lawn too. I'm very happy with the result and the price seemed very fair. I'm planning to seal the new surface in the fall."

"Tri-State Paving showed up on the time that they quoted. Their laborers showed up ready to work and very polite. My driveway was more difficult due to my perimeter of the driveway was solid pavers. They had to pick off old asphalt before the new asphalt was applied. A very good job done and completed in great time. "I highly recommend Fabiano's Construction. Our experience with him was fantastic from beginning to end. The project was to restore and replace the exterior window frames of our 1830 Trinity. The previous owners had installed new windows on the inside but left the old ones outside for beauty. Many of these old windows were completely rotten at the bottom, barely holding the small panes of glass together. We got three estimates. One builder wanted to replace the old windows with a second set of new ones. Another was going to patch them up with wood filler. Fabiano was the only one who was willing to actually restore them, using green wood for the parts that were beyond salvaging. It was precision carpentry work requiring problem-solving ingenuity. The new frames and sills are green wood plus Azek (PVC), so they should last forever. Although more major restoration was necessary than foreseen, Fabiano and his crew—his son Will and assistant Simon—still finished the job in the predicted time. They were careful, focused, hard-working, and also really nice, honest people. It was a pleasure to meet them, and the result is a stunning improvement to our house both inside and out. Fabiano is responsive and friendly, an expert who takes pride in his work. Incredibly, his price was the lowest the three. We plan to hire him for another project."

"My Smith Paving estimate was remarkably lower than my others. Ed Smith Sr., not to mention his son Ed Smith, Jr., is an old school man of deep integrity (a self described dinosaur). His grandsons, wife, and several craftsman with decades of loyal experience, and state of the art heavy duty equipment, make for the highest quality well-oiled in and out operation. Oh they know what they’re doing all right. The owners are hands on—Sr. will drive a compactor while Jr. rakes hot asphalt with his shirt off. Their work ethic is a thing of beauty. When afterward I pointed out a small area that I wished we’d approached differently, Ed Sr. eagerly insisted on returning and blended hot asphalt to suit my preference at no additional charge. Our driveway looks stunningly beautiful, and is built to last. Hopefully Ed Sr. won’t meet his maker for at least 30 more years. When that sad day finally comes, the human race will have lost a giant self-made man, and a giant humanitarian."

"They've done several projects for us - all commercial projects. They do a lot of big work for me. I'm a General Contractor - but, they even do small driveways (and other projects) very well. I've seen them pave - after they grade, they will even go out with a string & a line; so, you can actually the fall (slant) line: they don't only rely on the modern laser technology. They even paved my father's driveway, before he passed. They are great! They have all the modern equipment; yet, they have a great 'old-fashioned work ethic."
