"I needed to replace a window in my bathroom that been above the bathtub. I had converted the tub to a shower and needed an opaque glass that couldn’t be seen through. He installed rain glass which matched the glass in the shower doors."

"Jeff was excellent is explaining all my options. I had 4 windows and 4 patio sliders replaced. Everything from customer service, the new products and the installation was perfect!"

"I had 4 sunscreen shades put on my windows. Window was cleaned first and then the screen installed. The screens are made according to your window size. Very happy with the service and would definitely use them again."

"The provider came by and looked at the job and wrote up an estimate.  One week later the owner measured the openings and added the costs of new outside window trim to replace the old.  The windows arrived about 3 weeks later.  The two man installation crew were very professional and friendly.  They arrived promptly.  Installation took from 8am-about 4pm.   Everything went smoothly and I love my new windows.

"Mike did a great job understanding what we wanted done on the house. He gave us options on what him and his team can do. He ordered the material and installed the windows and siding in under 7 days. They even came back out to fix a couple things that got over looked. I would recommend them for any siding and window job. Great team, great communication, and great team."

They have not yet contacted me regarding the work to be done. As I am preparing to go on a vacation and will not return until the middle of next week, I'm in no hurry. If I haven't heard from them by the end of next week (May 29), I will contact them the following week.

Later:

I had paid the $1,000 advance by Visa through Angie's List, since Best Exteriors only accepts Pay Pal. Angie's sent them a check, but Best Exteriors said they didn't know what it was for, so it took two months to get an agreement signed. It seems to me that they could have called Angie's to ask what it was for. If I received a check for that much and didn't know why, I'd be on the phone right away to find out. I paid it in March. The job was done in July.

The crew of two men showed up on time and did a great job installing the windows. The problems started after the windows were in. The re-installed my two window air conditioners, but left large gaps around them where wind and water could get in.

They fixed one of them before they left, but I had to call the office to get the other one done. It was fixed a week later, but then Alex called me and said it was not part of their job to put the A/C back in, and the customer should make the arrangements for that. Well, alright, but he didn't tell me that when he came out to make the arrangements for the work to be done. It would have been a deal breaker for me, as I am elderly and not strong enough to do that. He said they had "gone above and beyond" by putting the A/C back in for me, but I don't think it's too much to expect them to put things back as they were when they started the job. Certainly they should have told me if it wasn't part of the agreement.

"Savana has been such an amazing person to talk to and receive information from about windows. We never knew there was so much that goes into a window and itâ s install and she gave us all her knowledge. We werenâ t sure if we wanted new windows yet but she made us feel so much better about getting them sooner. She has honestly been such an awesome person to talk to and spend 5 hours with! It wasnâ t all just about windows and bathtubs we got to know her and her company. Weâ re excited to have new windows for the winter and not learn what winter is like with 90 year old windows. And weâ re even more excited to be able to open our windows without them being painted shut!"

"From the day Ed came out to do an estimate on my large (31 window replacement) project, I knew he was who I wanted to do business with. He took the time to talk me through my options, explained what his team would do and talked with me about pricing options and how I could complete my project in the most economical and effective way possible. Throughout the process he was responsive and fair and got me scheduled within a reasonable timeframe. His crew did an excellent job. They were very respectful of my home, they worked quickly, quietly and kept everything clean and organized. They finished on time and on budget! I'm extremely happy with Good News Home Improvements and highly recommend! Thanks for everything- I LOVE my new windows!"
