"Inspection of a previously installed sump pump system (primarily the sump pump). Inspection found that it seized up and wouldn't have functioned. Replacement made - and very fortunately - since when the pump is needed, it IS needed. It wouldn't have been good to have a flooded basement or have an upcoming flooded basement."

"Unlike other contractors who didn't return calls, or had totally unreasonable estimates that they wouldn't put in writing, Brendan quickly returned call, came out when he said he would to evaluate and sent a concise written estimate. He's professional, very friendly, and after inspection, offered possible solutions. He "knows" skylights and quickly found a same-size replacement w/the same manufacturer. On the day of installation, he arrived early, and carefully covered interior areas. The failing skylight was 30 yrs old and we had no idea how bad it was until the removal started. Brendan and his assistant worked tirelessly (his estimate of 6 hr job time was spot on) to remove existing skylight, replace and clean up site on a very hot sunny day. He stayed around to provide additional insight on sun tunnels - another option to get light into dark rooms. Am so very happy hired Brendan/Skylights R Us.
