"I had an emergency repair.  I had an air conditioner taken out of my window and told the appliance store NOT to remove the wood support.  After they left, I found I could not close the window because the remaining piece of wood, which was screwed into the window frame, blocked the bottom part of the window.  I tried but was unable to remove the screws myself and the appliance store could not send someone today and was not sure they could send someone tomorrow, either.  I needed to be able to close the window and could not wait for a maybe; so, I looked on Angie's List for a handyman and found Jireh, who is local to me.  I called him, set up an appointment and he came right on time.  He removed the wood and the screws holding it in place and found that the window itself needed repair and caulking, which he did.  He also cleaned up the the area after he was done.  I would definitely use him again.
