After being woken at 4am by yet another false alarm, I put a call out for help. GE Cabrera was first to call (Jamie, the dispatcher was so kind and informative). We hired them, and the electrician (Gil) came the same day. Gil unplugged the faulty unit and that allowed the screeching to stop. The next day, Gil came with five new alarms, installed them, and basically told my mom that if the alarms go off, to call him any time, even at 1am. Their work is guaranteed!!
