"I tried to contact them via Angie's list but did not get a response. Then went to their website and got a very prompt response. I told Terry what I needed, including other work that has not been done yet. I had the measurements of the area to be mowed and we agreed upon a price. He also agreed to come out that afternoon and look at the other job to give me a price on that. I was at work when I talked to him but was off that afternoon. When I got home, I was amazed to see that the lawn had already been mowed and was a very good job! They treated the job exactly the way I would have. Can't ask more than for someone to treat your property the way they would their own. The price was a little high for the small area mowed, but I understand that there has to be a minimum, otherwise it is not worth their time to even come out, however, after Terry came to look at the other job and saw the area that his guys had mowed, he said he would knock off $10 for future mowing. I have hired him for the other job as well and will review that once it is done."

"I just received an email with the annual service agreement for my lawn sprinkler system. This will be the 23rd year that I have used Metro Lawn. The contract won't do any work until April, so there is no immediate report on "how did it go". Based on past experience I expect it all to go very well. This company has always done a great job, prompt, professional and knowledgable in their work."

"After agreeing on a time to meet, arrived on time to look at yard that needed clean up. Was supposed to get an estimate back quickly but it turned into a several day wait. Had to call to remind we were still waiting. Once back on track, the maintenance person came to rake up the yard and did a good job with my rake. His was a skinny metal tined rake that was pulling up the grass so I supplied a bigger, wider plastic rake so he could get the job done quicker. I have scheduled to have them back to do the lawn mowing so I'm happy with there work."

"sprinkler system went in well, as did turning off and back on seasonally first year.  now we have to turn in report to city on tests done, and they don't have any record of it.
tree is fine, but 4 bushes died first winter, and office was extremely non-responsive to my trying to find out why and to get them replaced. eventually were replaced.
landscaping timbers and walkway and garden pond have yet to be done after 1.5 years.
when work gets done, it is good, but communication is terrible and scheduling is unprofessional.

Since I previously wrote this review, the company has been in touch to try to make right by us.  We will be getting paperwork that we need to turn in to our community (Creve Coeur) and we have a meeting set to determine work to be done this spring and get on the work schedule. "
