Metal Roof Installers In Your Area

  • American Home Contractors, Inc. - Virginia

"Freddy and Hugo showed up promptly, did the job way faster than I expected (and did it well). They were polite, charged exactly what we expected, cleaned up any debris on the ground from cleaning our gutters, and immediately sent us a receipt with 20-30 pictures of the work so we could see it was done to our satisfaction. I would absolutely use this company again, especially if the rest of their employees are like Hugo and Fred."

  • Arocon Roofing VA

"The technicians were very professional explaining what they were going to do and then giving me a summary of what they did. Then sent me a detailed report with pictures of before and after. One of the best companies I've every worked with. Thanks!!"

  • Long Fence and Home, LLP

"I called this company and scheduled an in home estimate because I remember this company doing work in the area since I was a child. Josh Edwards came on time and was very professional during the visit. I have had a couple other companies out to give estimates on this project and I ultimately went with Long Home because of Josh. The fact that he used to do installs gives him the unique ability to speak to the technical aspects of an install with unquestionable accuracy. He was able to give me the complete rundown of everything that is needed to complete the install and he was honest and upfront with what I can expect. He also worked with me on the price tremendously. Quality, price, time frame, and representation are all 10/10! "

  • Burns Contracting, Inc.

"Mr. Burns is quite knowledgeable about the type of roof we had (built-up, also known as slag or tar & gravel), and the repairs necessary to correct a leak (vice replacement). Other roofers wouldnâ t take the job - it was out of their sphere of experience. Mr. Burns was prompt, clean and efficient, and charged a reasonable amount. On his first visit, Mr. Burns repaired part of the roof and eave that had rotted away over time. The rot was due to long term (years) water intrusion. There were two possible sources for the origin, but we took his advice to wait for rain to determine which area needed repair work. He returned in a few days, after a heavy rainstorm revealed the source, to find and repair the source of the leak higher up. The roof has been trouble free since his repair. "

  • Rose Roofing and Restoration, LLC

"I had a great experience with Rose Roofing that also worked with a Public Adjuster and my insurance company. The outcome was my insurance company paid for a roof replacement due to hail and wind damage. In short, Rose Roofing was professional, honest and reliable. "

    Creative Energy Of Virginia

"Very good experience in dealing with Creative Energy. They gave an excellent price to begin with so I didn't have to negotiate pricing and they also provided helpful insight in drawing up an excellent design. Work was meticulous, they cleaned up well after completing the project. The only issue I had was the project extended well into 3 months, wish it could have completed sooner so that I could have enjoyed the deck that summer it was built. Other than that I would definitely recommend then for any future projects. "

    An Construction Company, Inc.

"I was very pleased with the work An Construction did on our bathroom. Han was very easy to work with and did a professional job. They cleaned up after themselves each day (except the tile guys were a little messy), were friendly and kept their appointments (again, except the tile guys). I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting similar work performed. "

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should you get a metal roof?

There are a few reasons to consider a metal roof including its:

  • Durability
  • Various patterns & designs
  • Eco-friendliness
  • Ability to save on your insurance

You have to remember that this isn't the least expensive option. It can also be noisy during storms, like with rain or hail. However, if you are in a climate where no other roofing will last, then metal is the choice for you. The cost you put down initially will pay back quickly in how it protects your home.

How much does installing a metal roof cost?

Putting on a metal roof costs between $5,100 and $13,400 or about $7 to $14 per square foot. About $2,000 to $4,000 or $3 to $7 per square foot of that price is labor, while the rest depends on the materials you choose.

Metal prices by square (about 100 square feet):

  • Steel: $75 - $350
  • Stainless Steel: $400 - $1,200
  • Tin (Terne): $350 - $1,500
  • Aluminum: $150 - $600
  • Copper: $800 - $1,500
  • Zinc: $600 - $1,000
  • Lead: $1,000+
  • Rusted (Corten): $200 - $300

What are the advantages and disadvantages of a metal roof?

  • Energy savings of up to 40%
  • Insurance discounts up to 30%
  • Adds resale value at 95% of project costs
  • Low maintenance compared to asphalt
  • Lasts four times longer than asphalt.

  • Increased noise during rains and hailstorms

  • Color matching is difficult for repairs after the initial install
  • Difficult to breach in case of emergency
