5-Star Moving

Not only were they very competitively priced, but the customer service I received was top-notch.  Lucas advised me on what moving supplies were needed, and he suggested where I could purchase these items online or at my local hardware store in order to save more money on relocation expenses. <br /> <br /> On the day of my move, not only did Kevin and Morgan arrive several minutes early, but they did a phenomenal job wrapping and packing all of my belongings safely and strategically into the POD.  They were both very professional, amiable, and considerate. <br /> <br /> I wish 5-Star Moving offered their services in Southern California as I would definitely hire them again to unload my POD in Los Angeles.

We were very tempted to do this move ourselves, but Five Star Moving changed our minds immediately. When I first spoke with the owner, Lucas, on the phone I knew we were in good hands. I let him know that we are a very busy couple and would need some major help with packing. I figured that was something we would have to do ourselves considering our previous moving company didn't give the option of assisting with packing, Five Star didn't have an issue with it. We were able to work out a schedule and luckily they had an opening the following weekend. When Five Star showed up they got straight to work and were very easy to get along with. There was a group of four young men who helped, but we can only remember the name of the two main guys, Nick and Ahmed. Nick led the crew and was very patient with us, even at times when we were a bit high energy. Everything we own was packed up safely and placed into the moving truck. Getting things into our new house (which we thought was going to be the hard part!!) went very smoothly. The crew was easy to work with, followed direction well and got things done quickly. Next time we move, we'll call this crew first!

Lucas and his crew were excellent.  Lucas was accessible and hepful, and the crews were totally professional.  We hit some snags - the PODS was too small, and then could not be parked close to the apartment - this had nothing to do with Five Star, but they were very helpful in coming up with solutions and managing some problems none of us anticipated. <br /> There were courteous, helpful, and definitely knew what they were doing in packing the PODS, and moving the furniture with care and attention.  They were a great pleasure to work with and maintained positive supportive attitude despite the challenges and the 107 heat!

5 star moving we're great, they arrived on time and were more than prepared. They were quick and efficient!!! They wrapped my big furniture items and boxed my flatscreen!!! If needed I would certainly use them again!! I will be recommending them to others I know that are moving!!

Armani & Ahmed was professional and treated our things with care.

Great! We have a lot of fragile art pieces and the guys who came to help did a great job organizing them so that they wouldn't be damaged in the moving truck. For the bulky items, they were able to maneuver quite well without any trouble at all. I would definitely use their services again.

My experience with this company was great I was helped by Armani and zack they were such gentleman and very professional , they were helpful and got everything done none of my delicate items were bothered everything stayed in perfect condition I will refer this company to everyone I know ! thank you 5Star for such a great experience !

Armani and Ahmed were great from the start. They were able to keep my valuable possession well padded and protected. Having a few heavy peaces they did not complain; they just got the job done.

These guys showed up on time and got started immediately. It took them a bit longer than originally estimated on the phone, but they did a great job and worked their tails off to get the job done as quickly as possible. I'm extremely pleased with their quality of work and work ethic to get things moved really quickly.

It went as good as moving can go . It was a high stress environment for me and my family but the guys keep us calm and focused. When the job was done I wouldn't have waned anyone else for the moves and will use them again . Best of luck

These guys worked hard. Got to my old house at 9 am and worked all day and into the night. I wasn't as prepared as I should have been <br />But these guys worked with me and helped me get a hard ordeal into a tolerable one and worked until the job was done. Well done!

inhad to move out by midnight and planned to do everything myself but pulled a muscle in my back and a friend used these guys only a few weeks early.  They were faster than I could have done it and reasonably inexpensive.  Not sure they even took a break... <br> <br>great experience overall! 

The movers were great they made sure my items was save and kept my walls clean. Very fast and was able to make everything I needed to fit in the truck. The movers saved me a lot because I wouldn't have been able to move without their help.

The team was very professional exceeded my expectations and made me feel comfortable about moving . I would highly recommend them to my friends family and anyone who is looking for an outstanding team of professionals to load their home their personal belongings into a pod. I want to thank Lucas for an outstanding experience. And the movers Morgan and Nick performed an outstanding job and treated my stuff as their own.

It went very well. Morgan and Kevin were very polite and professional. When moving my belongings they treated like it was their own.

I am very satisfied by the professionalism and punctuality of 5-STAR MOVING. The gentlemen were incredibly polite, helpful and patient while loading my belongings. The job lead, Morgan, was especially respectful and positive with a great work ethic. I would absolutely hire again!

Were able to accommodate a last minute request to come earlier. <br /> Brought furniture dolly, hand tools, & hand truck at no extra charge. <br /> Did a great job with heavy items (such as treadmill, large cabinets, etc.) in getting it out narrow doorway, tight stairs, and then strapping into container all while protecting both house and furniture. <br /> Super friendly too!  Iwill use them again when I move into new house.

I tipped generously because the workers were respectful with my belongings and looked after myself by not letting me assist in the move.

Berkeley and the surrounding areaLucas met me at my storage space in El Cerrito & helped me move into a smaller space.  Lucas is super thoughtful, helpful and strong.  He is delightful to work with and makes it an enjoyable experience!  He was very careful with my artworks.  I will definitely call Five Star Moving when I need to move again! <br />

It was a positive experience for me. I had never used a moving company, but just didn't have the time or patience to do the move myself. However, I took a leap of faith!!!! Lucas and his crew relieved all my anxieties. They wrapped my furniture and breakables which showed me they really cared. They were organized and worked efficiently from the start of the job, so I felt like it was money well spent. The professionalism of the crew put me at ease as I was unsure about hiring a moving company that had the lowest rates. Overall, they got the job done right.
