We hired this company to repair our furnance . The person, Anthony, claimed he repaired the furnance and the furnance came on but approximately 3 minutes after he left it went off and did not come back on. We paid $349.00 to Mr. Anthony. We called him and he came back and said we needed a part on our furnance. The part was about $236. We paid for the part and he put it on. Once again, the furnance came on but after he left it went off again. We tried several times to call Mr. Anthony, but he has not returned our calls or text to this date. We are still without heat and we have to find someone repair our furnance. We are out of almost $600 and we have no heat.

I think because I am a woman and I am disabled that he took advantage. He charged me $203.71 for a service fee. He looked at the motor in my furnace, he said everything looked fine. He never did any physical work.

"Good evening am was really troubled when I saw this review because we do not take a vantage of a woman, let alone a handicap. My daughter has one leg and I assure myself and anyone else here does not feel that way. Your service fee was $150 because it was 9:00 pm at night and the rest was a diagnostic fee. The pounding you heard, was not noticed by me and I was downstairs at the furnace and also upstairs. I think your hearing your neighbor and mistaken it for noise in your furnace. Once again I am really sorry for your experience with us. Take care!"

Anthony was very prompt in replying to my initial query on homeadvisor, and arrived the same day to take a look at my central AC not running. He quickly diagnosed the faulty part (a bad capacitor at the compressor) and got me running again quickly, and was able to add some coolant into the system. My only quibble is that I was told the service call would be $80, but ended up being $150 instead. All in all was happy to have my service restored in a short amount of time however.

But we were unable to find a motor so we returned your motor the following day. I am not really sure why we received this low rating because we did all We could help you. He was on time, pleasant, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. However, there was no estimate, or price quoting prior to him starting and completing the work. It took him fifteen mins to fix the issue, with little diagnostics or labor needed. Bill still came out to be $567 to put an inexpensive seal on an easily accessible and quickly diagnosed leak, and to refill coolant. This was on the high end of industry standards and not my biggest issue. When preparing payment, I realized I did not have enough in my checking account to cover the bill. Rather than physically go to the bank to transfer money to my checking, I asked him if I could round up to $600 and have him wait two days to deposit when my next paycheck went through that account. Essentially, I offered to pay him $35 to hold the check for two days to save me a trip to the bank. He said it was no problem. Well, I woke up the next day to see that he put the check in the bank and that it already cleared and overdrew my account. Absolutely ridiculous. I pretty much have this guy a $35 tip for screwing me over. If you could not or did not want to hold the check, I would have understood, paid only the amount claimed owed, and made time to switch money around. Instead I got childish excuses, and was told I would be given the $35 back. That was a week ago, and I still have not received those funds. I will never do business with him again. If you do utilize him work was quick and professional. Be sure to get a quote and pricing upfront, and inquire about the logic behind itemized costs, and certainly do not expect him to do you any favors, even if you are compensating him for them!

"We are really sorry that you were not satisfied with our service. Your unit required multiple pounds of r22 Refrigerant which is very expensive due to it being discontinued. Also, we perform and leak check and added a sealant. My secretary deposited your check early on accident and we put a check in the mail for the $35. We explained it to you. We are sorry that you were not happy I just wished you would have told us these concerns when we were there. Take care and once again we are we did not hold your check due to not having the funds in your account."
