Scheduled via Home Advisor on 5/21. HA had it for 12:00 on 5/27. On the evening of 5/26 I was notified that it was cancelled due to vendor not responding to confirm appointment. I contacted my own vendor to do the work. Will not use HA again.

Scheduled an appointment and nobody showed up. I called them two hours after the scheduled time and the operator said she would contact the gentleman out in the field and I never heard back from them. Terrible communication.

the only reason I did not go with a 5 is because Arco waited until 2:05 (our time was 12-2) to call and say they would be late. I think we should have been notified earlier. The serviceman, Kenny was knowledgeable , friendly, and explained everything in laymans terms. very nice. Will call them first for problems in the future.

Over priced. First, I call them the guy over the phone, told me they will charge me for $89 for show up and diagnostic. After service, guy show up and looked at my furnace for about 20 minute and he said "You have a bad blower motor and its needs to be replaced". So I ask him for the price, he told me about $690 on top diagnostic fee today. After I searched, the part is only $160. So I think he wanted to charge me for labor $530 for a 1 hr job. So I think that is too much. So I decided not to repair and end up with overcharging me for $177 (he said $89 for show up and $88 for diagnostic fee) for only a 20 minute diagnostic.

Arco did a great job. We were having some issues with our furnace not heating up to the thermostat set temp. They came out within a couple hours, provided friendly and knowledgeable service, and when he left our furnace was running great!

Very professional company. Gave accurate estimate immediately. Techs were there when expected and worked efficiently and neatly. I like that this company has Amana products with great warranty. They also have a great service agreement that is reasonable and will, undoubtedly, save a lot of headaches in the future. We had our whole system replaced and it was finished in about 5 hours. Not a scrap of trash was found afterward. We did a little comparison shopping before hand and was very happy with the price.

Awful. Tech misdiagnosed a furnace problem on a very cold Friday evening and further advised me that the part he believed needed to be replaced could not be obtained in any way until Monday morning. In fact, the part could be obtained the next morning (I had to contact the local distributor on my own to find out). But, it turned out that the part wasn't the problem that needed fixing (I contacted a different contractor who correctly diagnosed the problem). When I contacted Arco's management to discuss the service errors, Jim, the operation's manager, was not at all apologetic regarding the technician's failure to diagnose the problem and offered a weak excuse as to why the representation that the part was not available until Monday was not a lie (notwithstanding that I had contacted the distributor and knew better). Given Jim's attitude and behavior, I believe the service experience I received reflects systemic problems with the organization.
