Avant Gardens was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Owner and operator team Joe and his brother Andrew provided consistent communication throughout the entire project which I find to be very unusual compared to other contractors I have worked with. Joe met with me multiple times, on my schedule, to discuss the vision for the project and ensured that I was comfortable before taking any next steps. He and his brother, with a combined 50+ years experience, are so knowledgeable and lent their expertise when selecting the perfect plants for my yard conditions and my garden is thriving. The team started on-time and worked throughout the entire day to keep the project on track. Every member of the team is respectful and highly skilled in their craft given me confidence that the job would be done right and it was. I live in a city row home and had my entire front yard removed and new garden beds installed. I had custom stone garden beds installed in my backyard as well. In addition to the 100+ plantings the team brought in they build custom fences and gates to my specifications. Joe said there wasn't a project they couldn't tackle and he proved me right. I am pleased with my new gardens and would highly recommend the Avant Gardens team.

Joe and the crew installed a deck in my back patio space. I asked for ground-level wood but he upsold me on flagstone for a little bit more. They installed it in fine time and were nice enough while doing it. The very next time it trained there were inches of water against my house and my basement and neighbors basement flooded. Avant clogged my storm drain with sand. And they did not respond to my calls for days afterward. They eventually cleared the drain and had the gall to send an almost $400 bill for that service. Now every time it rains my neighbors and I still get flooding so I hired a contractor and engineer. Apparently the drain they installed is obviously the incorrect type and its no wonder we are getting flooded. It is costing me thousands to get this repaired. These guys should stick to planting flowers and not falsely advertise that they know squat about construction.

Have you ever had a dream of a garden? Each year I attend the Philadelphia Flower Show since early 70's all I ever wanted was to have a garden in my yard. To take time out at night with my glass of wine and watch my Roses grow. Thank you, Avant Gardens I did not think anyone would provide me this services. I did live in center city and everyone wanted to do my yard but I wanted a garden in the true heart of Philadelphia the North. Now I have step one of my garden I will be calling them soon for my next part of my dream garden. Thank you, I am still smiling!
