I asked them to check my system since it was not working well. They checked and said the system had low pressure and needed a deep cleaning. They could clean and check pressures at that time to see if and how much refrigerant would be needed. When they arrived for cleaning they did not check pressures, cleaned some but left the evaporator coils with lots of debris and closed up the system before showing me. Later that evening I found the system was freezing over (had a leak). I was upset that the pressures weren?t checked that day and had already been charged (double what others have charged) for a initial service call, and then charged full price for a deep cleaning with no real system check to ensure the system was working as expected before they left. A different service company had to come help and they found the leak and showed me the excess debris that was not cleaned from the coils as it should have been. Don?t be fooled that they?ll claim a deep cleaning and instead just try to do ?enough? to get by. A few hundred dollars is way more than sufficient to pay for the time and effort to get a thorough cleaning. Thanks for nothing CHF

Our heater wasn't working properly because we had a frozen vinyl pipe. We needed it to be defrosted, and asked the technician for a permanent solution. He didn't know how to fix the problem, so he called another co-worker for help. They replaced the vinyl pipe, but we had to run it through our living room and into our kitchen sink so it wouldn't leak onto our floors. It was really inconvenient. As for the permanent solution, they could only suggest that we replace the whole unit, which would have been very expensive. They never showed up to our scheduled follow up consultation regarding the heater replacement, so we hired someone else.

Quick service (came out the next day). Fixed the problem immediately. Friendly. Good quality of work. A little expensive for labor, but I think that's the norm in this business.

I had a water leak from a small busted pipe in my back yard that my husband kept putting off for almost a year. I saw ServiceMagic.com in the Metro and decided to try it. It was easy to use, and I quickly got a call back from Tammy at CHF. They were able to come by the same day at my convenience! The service representative Ray (Raymond) was very polite and knowledgeable. My repair was finally done. I have CHF logged into my cell phone and I will definitely refer them to anyone that asks me.

I received a call @ 8:30 am. They were at my home by 9:15. They were professional fixed my problem and I had cool air once again!! The 2 men were professional friendly and knew what they were doing.

they were supposed to come on monday 6/30 08.never showed and no phone call explaing why. at 6:pm i e mailed them and still no responce.on 7/1 i called the office and left a message. they did call back and came and did the job.it was a detailed job but the charge was exhorbatant. they had to go and buy a dryer vent{did not give me reciept} .don't know if it works yet. that dryer ven t should be made of gold for the price they charged me for the job { $295.00 }. would only reccommend them if you are a millionare

Great customer service. Probably not the least expensive quote that you'll get but CHF did great work for me at a fair price. CHF returned my calls promptly, arrived on location when promised (the same day I called!) and did the work quickly and professionally. And all of this was in the middle of a heat-wave. They stand by the work performed and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending CHF to anyone who needs central AC repair -- it's a great company.

The repairmen were prompt and very professional. They quickly assessed the problem and quoted the work reasonably. The work was done in a very professional manner and my problem was resolved. I would definately use them again.

Quick response and efficient service, however I was charged $185.00 for a service call. No parts were needed, and as it turns out, no work other than checking the unit out was performed. The gentleman I spoke to was very professional, and they followed-up with a call the next day, however, the price was extremely high for a weekday call with no repair work performed. Would not hire this company again based solely on price.
