Our "new" house hadn't had the ducts cleaned in at least 30 years, and we could smell it. Gene and Bob spent almost 5 hours cleaning them out. The ducts were so clogged that they had to use the special access points in the basement, and I could hear debris moving through the ducts as they suctioned it out. They vacuumed out the registers and used an air brush to loosen dirt as well. Gene also cleaned the dryer vent and did us a huge favor by re-taping and securing where needed. I would definitely ask them back in 5 years!

The price was good. They came and did what they said they would do. From what I can see the quality of the work was good. I don't mean to infer something was wrong with their work, but my house has 27 vents and returns and I can't inspect all of them from end to end. They arrived when they said they would and finished in the estimated time. They left the house as they found it. That is, no mess left on the floors etc.. So, I would use them again.

"Thank you very much for your review. At this residence we made a video which showing the dryer completely blocked. The owners went out and bought a new dryer thinking their dryer was not working ......if we were called prior to the purchase of the dryer.... our service could have saved the customer 500 to 700 dollars but I was happy that we fixed the problem before the home caught fire. There are 15000 dryer vent fires each and every year....dryers need cleaning atleast once a year to help prevent fires and save energy."

Gene is truly a professional. His co-workers were very professional as well. They came to my house at 9:00 am, while he said would come. They finished work 4 hours later, as he said he needed to do the job. Everything was left clean. I am very satisfied with IRC and sincerely recommend it. The price was right, was not cheap but not expensive either.

Gene called immediately, thoroughly explained his services and gave me an estimated range for the duct cleaning. He arrived on time, explained again what they were going to do and the timeframe for completion. They did an extremely thorough job, including cleaning up the furnace area and replaced all covers, they did not create any mess and finished within the timeframe outlined. I would highly recommend Gene and his company.
