we recently replaced a new roof over our existing flat roof on our commercial building. The estimate came in below another major commercial company. Sam was patient in explaining everything to me and kept me updated about the timeline and installation. We were very satisfied!

I ws very happy with my experience with Elite I had a very good experience with Elite Roofing. I had storm damage done to my roof. Elite Roofing came and did the work very fast and efficiently. I was impressed with the crew and Kerry. He explained and showed me the work as it progressed. When done, the clean-up was also well done. All in all, it was a good experience and I would recommend them very much.

While this contractor responded to my request right away, once I asked to be scheduled there were a few "misses" as far as not getting back to me when he said he would. Once we got it scheduled tho, it went very well and the price was very good.

They were really good until i paid for the job. Once they received the check, it was cashed the same day. I had someone check on the work performed to find out garbage was left all over the place. Called Kerry several times 3-4 days and he promised at least 3 times that someone will clean it up and it never happened. I had to pay someone else to go clean their garbage. I wouldnt recommend this company to friends and family.

I hired Elite Roofing to do my roof replacement project and I have paid off whole $14,815 for the project per contract agreement. After 2 months, I received a letter from law firm which says Elite Roofing failed to pay sub-contractor money. Total price is $4,995.93. If I don't pay for this amount, law firm will put a Mechanic Lien against my house. I am astonished that Elite Roofing did not pay its sub-contractor money. Now its sub-contractor will put a Mechanic Lien against my house, I will be involved in a big trouble. I am innocent and a victim, I have to pay additional $4,995.93 for Elite Roofing's fault and commercial immorality !!!

"there was a misunderstanding with our supply house on some invoices, the subcontractor who did the job was paid, and the supplier has in fact been setup with a payment plan on the mistake"

chose elite roofing b/c i thought they would be most professional since they are a commercial company. got the qoute, work was done. first thing was the foreman never came back that night to check his crews work like he said he would, nor did he call to explain why he wasn't coming back to work site but he called me bright and early the next day for payment. fast foward several months later. roof still leaking and walls are consequently still having issues. call the company 3 times for foreman to come out and review problems. stood me up 3 times. now walls are molding and have to hire another rooofer. would not recommend this company.

"the roof was done was a small repair to the back drain area, the guy who sold the job is no longer with the company because he did not live up to our standards of checking on jobs, as far as calling for payment, who doesnt want to get paid after they complete a job, no messsage was ever received from the customer"

For the money, I think quality and service were good. Roof put on when cold and some of the shingles have yet to settle (look buckled like the old ones), however, hopeful this issue will go away this summer. Roofers left most of the old nails on the ground, luckily the flashing guys who came the next day (from Elite) were pretty upset and picked most of them up! The only real disappointment was the old drip edge over the bay windows (and under the vinyl siding) was ripped off, re-formed and re-installed back on the windows with new shingles over it. Why not just leave the old drip edge as it was or replace completely? I hope it doesn't leak!

"With all due respect to the homeowner, we do not reuse old drip edge and everything is installed properly to GAF manufacturers specification. We do not feel that the customer was fair with his rating. As for the nails, everything was tarped off and cleaned up that day. We magnetically clean up whatever nails that may stray from the tarp; usually it gets dark on a bigger job so we come back the next day and do it again. I do not understand what the problem was? Regardless, the customer paid immediately and was satisfied with the work that was done; and of course, no leaks. Thank you, Stu Ochs Elite Roofing, Inc."

Job was subbed out. Showed up un-announced on a Saturday a week after originally scheduled. Left trash and did not complete job and were required to come back. Roof leaked after the first rain.

"We don't usually work on saturdays, so the fact that the work was done on a saturday means that it was requested by the customer. The shingles used in this job were special order that had to match to the shingles the customer had already purchased. They are not usually held by our suppliers and they took a week to get in."

I found Stu to be an honest person and was easy to access during the process. He gave me what i thought was a good price on the roof with quality materials. I had to ensure that the workers applied 6 foot of Ice and water shield (that was promised) to the roof instead of the normal three foot, but other than that, the men that worked on the roof were extremely efficient and clean-up was fantastic. Stu had a little trouble getting the subcontractor to house to do the gutter because it was a "small job" but Stu stayed on top of them and it was completed in a relatively short time. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent customer service. Repaired the roof 2 days before a hurricane. Unfortunately there are more issues with the roof and we have a bid from Elite to do the work after the Insurance company assesses the damages from the wind and rain. I would highly recommend Elite Roofing. Joe is a marvelous customer service rep and keeps his word.

After submitting the request, Elite called me the next morning(less than 24hrs later). Set up an appraisail for the next day with a 1 hour appointment window. The appraiser was there within the 1 hr time frame, was very pleasant and gave me a resonable estimate. This appointment was just 13 hrs before hurricane Irene was expected to hit our area! We reviewed the estimates and selected Elite. We called on tuesday afternoon and they gaves us an appointment on thursday moring, they showed up and completed the repair job in a very reasonable time and left the job site in a clean state. I'm very satisfied with thier work and professionalism.
